This place is an island I decided I must visit based on just one picture!
I was planning a five-day, four-night itinerary, but I bought the wrong ticket again. I looked for the Yunxiao Station ticket just before departure, but it was sold out again... After many twists and turns.
Only after I came did I know that has a special value .
There are blue skies, green water, clouds of various shapes, sea breezes from the Pacific, simple and neat fishermen’s boats, well-proportioned houses, and even the sunshine here is full of enthusiasm...I can’t describe my feelings at that time in my words. Feel.
Nanmen Bay
Dongshan Island used to be unknown, but after the movie "Left Ear" was filmed here, there were more and more tourists.
Fisherman's Wharf / Sailing Meeting Point
There are many B&Bs and food stalls here. The accommodation fee is unclear, but the seafood and snacks are relatively affordable. For transportation, there are shared electric vehicles, small three-wheelers for local residents, and private electric vehicle rentals.
After eating, you can walk along the Seawall or Ding Street. You can take pictures everywhere!
When going to the beach, remember to look in the direction of Fisherman’s Wharf (we didn’t go to the beach because it was too hot at noon that day)
It should have been taken from another angle, you can see the small colorful houses on the shore
The picture on the right is the filming location of "Here We Come"⤴
Ding Street is said to have a history of more than 600 years~~According to what is said online, if you keep walking on Ding Street you can reach the entrance of Fengdong Stone Scenic Area Guandi Temple , pay attention to the signs on the top street to reach Nanming Academy ( Wen Gong Temple ) at the top of Tongshan Ancient City
The door here is relatively short and narrow. I wonder if there is a story~
My sister and I followed the red (hand-painted) simple road signs to almost the highest point. After we couldn't find the same scene in the left ear, we asked a certain family if they could let us go to the top floor of their building to have a look. Then the old lady kindly showed us the way.
There were many twists and turns along this road. In fact, we didn’t know exactly where we were going... We encountered an ancient wall ⬆
(Probably at the edge of a certain scenic spot⬇)
(Looking from a distance, they are all fishing boats ready to go)

Sufengshan Huandao Road
If you are here, go for a ride. If you don’t have a car, walk along the long road and leave your worries behind; or lean on the railing and look out, shouting loudly, the sea will absorb all your negative energy.
I shake my skirt in various ways hhh
It's wonderful~~We are the protagonists of this movie! !
Always on the road~
fish bone sandbar
They were all taken with my phone after counting down.
It takes about twenty minutes to get there by fishing boat.
Breeding
Walking with the wind, it smells like that
Must wear slippers
You must bring a set of clothes, easy to change if they get wet (although the sun is very strong, it will dry easily)
(You can take a bath/shower at your own expense here)
It is recommended to bring an empty transparent water bottle, which can be used to decorate the shells and small seafood babies (remember to release them before leaving because they can’t be taken away anyway, and they are small and don’t have much meat). You can also wash the sand with sea water (a little expert on saving money).
It is recommended to bring your own drone~~~so that you can see the whole picture of Fishbone Sandbank
transportation
Take the train and transfer to Dongshan Tongling Passenger Terminal. After exiting the gate of Yunxiao Station, there is a bus parking lot less than 100 meters to the right. There is a bus to Dongshan Island on the left side of the bus station (the departure time coincides with the train time), or you can take a taxi from Yunxiao to Dongshan. 35 kilometers, about 1 hour.
Due to group tour and time constraints, we could only spend one day on Dongshan Island, so there were still many places worth seeing that we didn’t visit! Let me write a list now, and I hope I can complete this list next time ~ ~
✅Fengdongshi Scenic Area (Guandi Temple) - Dongmen Island Scenic Area (an island that can be visited by a separate boat) - Wen Gong Temple - "Left Ear" filming rooftop (not found) - Tonglingding Street (I haven't found it yet) Completed)
✅Su Feng Mountain (watching the sunrise) - Yan Ya Village - Jinluan Bay & Maluan Bay - seaside bonfire at night
✅Ojiao Fishing Village Four Islands—Tai Mo Shan—Gu Wenchang Memorial Hall
Looking at it this way, you can spend two full days on Dongshan Island when traveling to Xiamen. Oh, I should say traveling to Fujian, as well as Quanzhou, Wuyi Mountain, and volcanic islands...
Final words:
PS There is no P picture in the full text! ! No P picture! ! Several of the photos would actually look great if adjusted, but I was too lazy to even bother with filters.
