Ankara, as the capital, always seems to be upstaged by Istanbul: this small city with less than 100,000 people has served as a capital for a pitifully few years compared with Istanbul (in 1923, Turkey's "Father of the Founding" Ataturk The capital of Croatia was established here when the country was founded); although it has rich tourism resources, compared with Istanbul, which is frequently put on the international big screen, Ankara is not highly photographed, but it also has high-quality museums and cultural and historical landscapes. , because it is also an ancient city and has been prosperous since the Roman era.

The driver very considerately stopped the car for us to take pictures. Unfortunately, the sun was not strong enough, otherwise the sea and sky would be so beautiful! (I like our driver uncle very much)

Cappadocia is not a city, but a region. The most attractive things here are undoubtedly these three things - the ingenious cave stone houses, the desolate and magnificent karst landforms, and the exciting hot air balloons journey of.

The price is around ¥800 per night, two nights is recommended.
My room blah blah blah~
In fact, only the rooms on the first and second underground floors are real cave rooms. Many of the rooms on the ground are new ones that were built later and are just ordinary hotels. Dirty things often fall off the walls of the cave room... There are a lot of black wall dust on the sheets on the bed. There are many various cave hotels in Cappadocia. Because there are relatively few rooms, you can definitely choose a room you like by checking online recommendations before booking.
Crock Pot Chicken
Chicken chop, bad times
The wine in Turkey is really delicious, especially the Cappadocia region, which is rich in red wine and has a mellow taste.
A glass of wine will help you sleep, and you are looking forward to the hot air balloon ride the next day.
Day 3 Cappadocia
I got up at 4 o'clock in the morning and went to ride the hot air balloon, but the wind was too strong and it couldn't fly.

I'm going to cry just thinking about it, okay? Fortunately, there is still another day tomorrow. Let’s take a gamble and hope the weather will be good tomorrow.
Catch up on sleep……..

Attractions
Goreme open air museum (2 hours)

The Goreme Open Air Museum condenses the natural and human history of the Cappadocia region and brings together more than 30 cave churches and is rated as a World Cultural Heritage. These churches were originally built by Christians who migrated to the Cappadocia region to escape political persecution. In order to conceal themselves from others, they chose to hollow out the mountains to build churches. There are mottled colorful murals inside. Although these murals are not perfect in shape, Some of them may look a little immature, but each chapel has a beautiful legend left over from that time and is of high artistic appreciation value. After leaving the open-air museum, don’t forget to go to Tokali Kilise diagonally opposite to see the murals. The ticket is included in the open-air museum package, and you can walk 50 meters down the slope.
The open-air museum is not big, but it will take half a day to visit the "cave" churches one by one. It is recommended that you hire a tour guide, or "follow" the tour guide's explanation, so as not to challenge your imagination and scratch your head at the stone buildings and religious murals under the scorching sun.
The main attractions in the museum: St. Basil's Chapel (Aziz Basil Sapeli), Apple Church (above St. Basil's Church, Elmali Kilise), St. Barbara's Chapel (Azize Barbara Sapeli), Dark Church (Karanlik Kilise, There is an additional fee, the complete frescoes are worth visiting) and the St. Catherine's Chapel (Azize Katarina Sapeli) behind it .
