Starting from Lanzhou West to Jiuquan City, the train needs to pass through Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, then to Zhangye City in Gansu Province, and finally reach Jiuquan City.

In the early morning, the train drove along the Qilian Mountains. I sat by the window, drank yogurt, and looked at the scene I had never seen outside the window.

It was my first time to come to Northwest China and riding the train was a pleasure for me.

When it comes to a trip, sometimes what you look forward to is not a specific destination, but—

I didn’t have enough breakfast, so I didn’t arrive at Jiuquan until 12:30 noon. At 12 o'clock, I was so hungry that I couldn't stand it any longer. I looked through my schoolbag and my eyes suddenly lit up. It was a ham given by the super handsome guy mentioned in the previous push. After tearing it open for a long time, I finally "cut it in half" and split it into two. The picture cannot be displayed because it is too bloody. In the face of hunger, gentleness is no longer important hahh.

When I was almost at the station, I took a look at the temperature in front of the train. The temperature outside Jiuquan was 2 degrees. When I looked at the skirt and thin coat I was wearing, I immediately smiled. Do you think I was going to freeze to death in the Northwest? ? ? The temperature difference between Lanzhou and Lanzhou is too big! ! !

When we got off the train, we were greeted by the cold air and sporadic drizzle. Although it felt like 2 degrees Celsius, the temperature was not as cold as 2 degrees Celsius in Nanjing. It was bearable with my thin coat wrapped tightly.

On the way to the hotel, I called Didi. When I saw that the driver was an aunt, I felt instantly relieved. This was the first warmth I gained after arriving in this cold, distant and unfamiliar city. Auntie is very easy-going. I briefly chatted with her about the city of Jiuquan. I said that I would go to Dunhuang tomorrow. As a native of Jiuquan, she said that she had not been there yet. She was suffering from daily work and needed to work hard for life. effort. Yes, while I am young and I have graduated from college, I still have so much time to go out and take a look. The starting price of Didi here is also very cheap, only 6 yuan.

Suzhou District is the main urban area of ​​Jiuquan, with a small area. It was already past one o'clock when we arrived at the hotel, and there were no cars or pedestrians on the city streets along the way, which was strange. Looking out from the hotel window, there were not many pedestrians on the street.

There is only one task in Jiuquan today, and that is to buy a bus ticket to Dunhuang City tomorrow. It was half past one. When I went upstairs, I saw that there was nothing to eat downstairs except braised chicken, and then I gave up on the expensive takeaway with not many varieties. I guess it's not too early, so I can buy a ticket and have a walk around before I have dinner. So I packed up, changed into a pair of thicker socks and went out to buy a ticket.

A senior who loves traveling once told me from his personal experience that when you come to a strange city, the best and quickest way to experience it and get to know it is to get on a bus and ride to the end and then get back. This is really a good way to experience it. When you come here for the first time and you are not familiar with the place, you can first sit on the bus and go around it. In this way, you will already know most of the city’s attractions and important buildings. Look at the city's streets, people, vehicles, lights, and feel the city's atmosphere.

Carrying a small white plastic bag containing snacks bought from the canteen, I went to the bus stop to wait for the bus while eating QQ candy. That is to say, in this strange city, no one knows me. With my status as an outsider, I can wander around unscrupulously and regardless of my image.

At this time, there were many pedestrians and vehicles on the street, which was completely different from the quiet feeling when I came here. Originally, it took a lot of stops to see the historical sites of the Western Han Dynasty, but after only a few stops, the driver asked me to get off. Due to road construction ahead, the car cannot continue forward. I was so dizzy that I couldn't tell the direction, so I gave up and continued to the scenic spot. Walking on the streets of Jiuquan, I saw winter jackets and coats everywhere, and I suddenly became the least dressed guy on the streets of Jiuquan.

I asked local citizens downstairs of the hotel if there were any specialties in Jiuquan, and I was thinking of buying something to give to Lao Yu. After learning that luminous cups are a specialty of Jiuquan, I wandered around the streets and went to look for the luminous cup market. I accidentally saw a Yiwu Trade City, so I went in to see if they had the luminous cup I wanted and other treasures.

There is no luminous cup here, but my favorite dress makes me stay for a long time. It's a pity that many clothes of average quality are priced very high. I think I will have to wear this outfit. I am an anti-freeze duck! ! !

I accidentally saw a hat, and after trying it on - O my god! ! ! It’s so beautiful, buy it! Buy it! (Poisoned by Li Jiaqi) Not only is it beautiful, it’s also quite cheap, only 12 yuan. This hat proved to be a huge help for the rest of my trip.

After leaving the free trade city and walking back, I met a real luminous cup store on the road. Finally, I was able to enjoy the luminous cup, which ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand, and the waiter was very enthusiastic. On the way back, I saw this Oriental Plaza, and somehow I walked into this large underground supermarket, so I could have a browse~ Suddenly I remembered that I can prepare some food for myself to eat on the way to Dunhuang tomorrow. I need to get up early in the morning, and it can also be used as breakfast. As witty as me hehe. Prices in the supermarket here are not low either. I bought nearly 40 yuan worth of items, including breadsticks, jelly and hawthorn rolls. Bread sticks are really valuable, and they are sweet and greasy, but when you are hungry, you can only bite the bullet and eat them. Jelly is really a good thing. It is not only easy to fill your stomach, but also quenches your thirst. I will remember it next time^_^.

In fact, in the next few days, I stuffed some bread, jelly and hawthorn rolls into my schoolbag every day, and ate them when I got hungry on the road. Fortunately, I went to the supermarket~

The real-time temperature of Jiuquan at 6 pm was only a few degrees above zero. Although the temperature is scary, it is really much warmer than Nanjing at the same temperature. Otherwise, I should buy a cotton-padded jacket at the Free Trade City and come back.

I must have been too busy because I stopped in front of Jiuquan Middle School for a long time and looked at their 2018 college entrance examination red list. This must be a key middle school. Many of them have been admitted to top domestic universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University. I actually read it from beginning to end, trying to find out if anyone got admitted to my alma mater, Nanshen College, but I only saw one who got admitted to Jinshen College. Most of the children got admitted to universities in the province, such as Lanzhou University, Lanzhou University of Science and Technology, Gansu University of Political Science and Law, etc. Hey, I’m really too busy~

We finally arrived at the hotel despite the rain, but dinner was still there. I happened to see a Malatang restaurant on the roadside. Oh, I love Malatang so much. This is a Malatang restaurant without meat... The boss lady of Malatang finally gave me vermicelli, a little thicker and thinner. , the boss lady is also very young and beautiful, but she still can't make up for my sadness of not eating meat! Having said this, I suddenly miss the Malatang on the first floor of Qinyuan School... Well, I'll go back and eat it after school starts! ! !

Hotels in the northwest are usually very cheap. A large-bed room in this Home Inn opposite the bus station only costs more than 80 RMB. It is comfortable and has convenient transportation. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the bus station tomorrow.

At the end of a leisurely day at the Buddhist temple in Jiuquan, I felt a little lonely and scared when I was alone in the hotel, but I still kept in touch with my friends in Nanjing. Thinking that we can see the Mogao Grottoes and the desert tomorrow, I am still a little bit excited and excited.
