When I go out, I don’t have high requirements for food and accommodation. In order to see as much scenery as possible in the least time, I often get up early and stay late at night, often without time. My family also adapted to me. After lunch, we drove to Wuyi Mountain and asked my daughter to use my mobile phone to book a hotel in advance. My daughter asked if she wanted Home Inn or Hanting Hotel. Home Inn’s phone was not connected, so she made a reservation. Hanting, two days.
It is about 300 kilometers from Lingyin Stone Forest to Wuyishan Resort. We found the hotel we booked at around 5 o'clock. The parking lot in front of the hotel is very small. If it does not take up the space of the left and right shops, it can only park 4-5 people. car. When I arrived, two cars with Zhejiang license plates were parked crookedly in front of the hotel, occupying the entire area. I had no choice but to park in front of other unopened stores nearby.
Entering the hotel, 6-7 men and women with Zhejiang accents were criticizing the only waitress at the front desk. After listening carefully, it turned out that they had booked the room online in advance and prepared to pay a deposit in advance. The website said that no prepayment was required, and You can enjoy the discounted price on weekdays. When you go to the store to go through the formalities, the waiter said that there are no orders online. The next day (which happens to be the first day of the new year) you can't enjoy the discounted price on weekdays. The Wuyishan holiday price will be applied.
She just came for the Spring Festival. For part-time workers, since the store manager is not available at the moment, I suggest that they let the store manager handle it later and only handle check-in on that day. The customer was very dissatisfied and kept criticizing, saying that he was a gold card customer and wanted to complain and fire the waiter... It was very unpleasant, the waiter explained patiently. I thought to myself, I rarely stay in hotels, I only stay with my family a few times, and I have received a few classmates and friends. All of them have platinum cards, which are a higher level than gold card users. What about the gold card? Already?
The waiters are always polite and neither arrogant nor overbearing. During this period, I really couldn’t stand it anymore. It was just a few dollars, and it was Chinese New Year. Before I finished speaking, these customers came to me again. In the end, they couldn't stand it any longer and went somewhere else, sitting on the sofa nearby to discuss it.
I went to the room and put down my things. It was still dark, so I decided to take my daughter to eat at KFC. On New Year’s Eve, there was probably only KFC to eat.
There were very few people on the street. It was about 1 km from the KFC store. There were fewer customers than I expected, but there were even fewer employees. People waiting for food took up almost half of the store, and there were only a few people eating. My daughter came over and asked if she would eat the big bucket or the small bucket for the whole family. I said, for the Chinese New Year, the big bucket.
Neither the child nor her mother wanted to leave any longer, so I asked them to wait in the store while I went for a walk on the street. Across the street and across the river is Wuyi Mountain, very close at hand. Soon, it got dark, and I turned back, but the family bucket hadn't come up yet.
The three of them failed to finish the large portion of the family bucket, so they kept some chicken wings and took them back to the hotel. At the front desk, the waiter was busy. When he saw us coming, he smiled and nodded, and told us that the scenic spot might open at 6:30.
When I returned to the room, I checked the weather forecast. It was only sunny for 2 days, and then it would be rainy. So we arranged to get up early the next day, and the first batch of guests entered the scenic spot, trying to finish the tour in one day, and then rushed to the next scenic spot. If they couldn't finish it, they would go in again, and arrive at the shooting point of Xiapu before the evening of the third day.
It is the Chinese New Year after all, The sound of firecrackers is heard from time to time. I don’t like watching the Spring Festival Gala either, so I take my daughter to the streets to take pictures of night scenes.

After shooting for a while, I felt that there was nothing to shoot and it was a bit cold. So I went back to the room, chatting endlessly and watching TV.
Fireworks suddenly burst out of the window. If you can set up a tripod on the bay window, the room would be the best shooting point. Unfortunately, the inner window is restricted from opening, so you can't enter the bay window, so you have to carry the tripod and go to the street again.
There were very few fireworks. After waiting for a long time, I didn’t see them once or twice, and they were all blocked by houses. It was only when the New Year bell was approaching that there were a few fireworks everywhere. In one of them, the exposure was not completed yet. I moved the tripod, and there were tracks in the picture that I couldn't see in normal shooting. My wife and daughter asked me how it was taken, so naturally I had to pretend to be mysterious.
I was getting ready to get up at 5:30 the next morning. I didn’t dare to shoot too late. Not long after the new year arrived, I went to find my pillow. Fortunately, there were really few firecrackers that night. Slept pretty well.
