Chengdu —— Xindu Bridge
This was a very impromptu trip. Less than 12 hours after the ticket was placed, I arrived in Chengdu and met up with the large troops. Before arriving, I didn't know that my neighbor had checked the car over, or that I had this roommate. She is a neighbor’s best friend, flying here from Guangzhou. We originally planned to go abroad in May, but it was canceled due to the epidemic and we were unable to meet. Unexpectedly, we met this time. Well~ I sigh that there is no place where the destined people will not meet again!
I don’t know my companions, I don’t know much about the itinerary, and none of the four of us know it. The only thing for sure is going to Aden!
What! Going to Aden again! I just went there in July! Going again in October!
Then go for it! Starting from Chengdu, we took the 318 route, which was a familiar road. This was how we advanced into Tibet the year before. Spend the night in Xinduqiao, passing through Zheduo Mountain on the way. The pass is 4298 meters above sea level.
I am looking forward to it. It was my dad who failed at this "First Level of Kangba" last time. This time it will be Who is it! 🤔
As we approached the pass, it started to snow, and the road ahead was unclear and desolate in winter. Only the car lights gave off a warm light, which was round and lovely.
When I arrived at the pass, I asked my neighbor to help me take before/after photos. Although the scenery was very different, I was still very excited.
In fact, it is easy to get high when fat is wrapped around muscles. The driver and roommate fell down one after another, but my neighbor and I were unharmed. He quickly got in the car and ran away. As he moved a little further down, the rain and snow stopped, leaving dark clouds hanging over his head.
When we got to town, it was sunny again. This is the fun of climbing mountains. One hour before and after, going up and down the mountain is a completely different scene.
Dinner was a hot yak hot pot. After dinner, we went to find accommodation. I heard that my roommate booked an internet celebrity B&B, a romantic starry sky and grass view cabin in Aromatherapy Valley! It's so romantic in this cold October. Xinduqiao——AdenVillageShangri-La Town
When I wake up with a full charge, the air outside the house is clean and feels a bit like a prairie villa. Today’s drive is not short, there are still more than 400 kilometers to Aden, but we don’t panic, thinking that we can just catch the last bus into the scenic spot. So, we leisurely entered Yajiang County, had breakfast and then hit the road.
At ten o'clock, just a few kilometers after getting on the national highway, the road ahead was closed for construction. Good guy! The long queue has no end in sight.
It is said that the release time will be at 1pm, and it is impossible to enter the scenic spot today. Neighbors and roommates began to contact the hotel to cancel or change the hotel, and the procedures were complicated. It was too hot at noon on the plateau. It was hot outside and hot inside the car, which made me feel even more anxious.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, we were finally released! The car moved forward slowly, and my mood became lighter. First we arrived at the Observation Deck at the Eighteen Bends of Tianlu. Originally, it only took 40 minutes to drive from Yajiang County, but it took us more than four hours.

There is nothing along the way, just beauty, the simple beauty of blue sky, white clouds, mountain meadows and colorful prayer flags. The changing temperatures can make you wear three seasons if you are not careful.
Dinner is at Ding Zhen’s house😊😊😊. Eat in Litang! Two high-rebels can already eat at an altitude of 4,000 meters. After all, it is better to be strong! After eating, we continued on our way. The Tu'er Mountain we passed by in the evening was nothing but beautiful. The sunset painted the mountains and rivers, and people's faces turned into carrot-colored beauty!

Shangri-La Town - Aden Village
It was already midnight when we arrived at Shangri-La Town last night. Everyone was very tired. It was absolutely impossible to get up early and go to the scenic spot to climb the mountains. Just walk around the town and check out everything you want to eat and drink. Once you enter Yaden Village, you won’t have much choice. Besides, there’s a new tea ceremony here, so why not go!
There are not many roommates with beautiful faces that don’t need to be retouched, so they must be included here.
There are two levels of evaluation of Daocheng Yading online. Many people think the experience is poor! I never want to go there a second time! Today is the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Although people are on the road, the sense of ceremony is indispensable. At noon, I passed by Litang again and stole moon cakes from the hotel to eat. It was a complete experience.
Driving north aimlessly, in the evening, we still had not decided where to stay and were still looking for where to go. As we were approaching Xinlong County, a user review of a scenic spot in Gaode caught our attention.
What a lake that is both real and illusory, filled with the whole world! We decided to go and check it out.
The path up the mountain from National Highway 227 is very difficult, and the ten-kilometer journey takes nearly an hour. The slope is steep, the road is narrow, and there are many bends. When encountering a passing car, I accidentally fell into a pit, mainly because of my roommate. Fortunately, when we finally reached the top of the mountain, there was still a trace of the setting sun.
Lake Tsoka is not big, the water is clear, and the reflection is reflected on the surface of the lake. It can really hold the imagination of the whole world.
The Tsokha Monastery opposite the lake is also very beautiful. It will definitely sparkle with golden light in the sunlight. It has an aura that cannot be conveyed by photos. really! It’s both real and illusory!
The driver was fascinated by the whole world and asked passers-by to take photos for us. As soon as people came in, the fairy spirit disappeared.
There is accommodation on the mountain, but the conditions are a bit poor and you can't take a shower. Without even thinking about it, we gave up the starry sky, sunrise, early morning and so on all over the world, went down the mountain in the dark, and rushed to Ganzi County to stay in a high-end hotel.

We plan to return to Chengdu on the night of the 4th and go home on the 5th, so the next step of the trip is to pick out what there is to do along the way back.
I slept until I woke up naturally, almost noon. Take a walk on the equally beautiful National Highway 317, eat a bowl of pork jiojio noodles, and continue on the road in the afternoon. Just when you feel sleepy, the weather changes! After the thunder and lightning, a double rainbow appeared in the rain.
There are scenery on the way, so you will never be bored. We arrived in Danba County smoothly. It is also a city with hundreds of teas. How about a cup of it?

Danba County —— Hailuogou
It is a rare day with a purpose, today we are going to Hailuogou. My roommate booked a hotel early and couldn’t get a refund, so his plan to go back to Chengdu to eat and drink was cut off.
From Danba County to Luding, there are tunnels all the way, one after another. Dozens of kilometers. In the afternoon, the old driver was a little tired, so my roommate took over. After passing through one of the countless tunnels and another of the countless big pits, there was a huge shock, and everyone jumped up a few centimeters from their seats, followed by a series of sharp noises. We had a flat tire.
It's so exciting to have a flat tire in the tunnel. Fortunately, it's not a very long tunnel, and we're close to the exit. There's a small road next to the exit. Is it just for tire replacement?
The veteran driver took out his tools and reluctantly prepared to change the tire. Just by chance, a patrol car passed by, and two traffic police uncles greeted us enthusiastically and helped us change the tires!
After the incident, the roommate was swapped out and returned to her back seat to eat, drink, and have fun, but some things were really not meant to be eaten in the bump, like prickly pear fruit. The roommate who didn't listen got his hand pricked.
Despite several twists and turns, we arrived at Hailuogou safely. Everyone felt a little regretful when they entered the scenic spot. The weather here was really bad and there were so many people. It was over, and I felt depressed. I had no choice but to order a roast chicken to comfort myself.
The freshly roasted chicken is so delicious! There seems to be a rabbit next door, and it doesn’t look cute anymore after it’s baked.

Hailuogou——Chengdu
What is Hailuogou Scenic Area? It is Glacier Forest Park, located at the foot of Gongga Snow Peak and is famous for its low-altitude modern glaciers. It is easy to see and approach, and the supporting facilities are very complete. It is the TOP1 scenic spot in Sichuan, followed by Daocheng Yading.
Maybe it was because the situation ahead was so bad that bad luck finally came. When I woke up in the morning, it was foggy outside the yard. What else could I see today?
It’s just that you’ve come and paid the money, so there’s no point in struggling. After experiencing the rotating winding bus, the Paperclip Cableway queue, and some steps on the mountain road, we were already hungry when we reached the top. Each of us started with a set of instant noodles and grilled sausages, which cost 570 yuan.
The expensive food is really delicious. On this rainy day, your health will be restored immediately after eating it.
Then go see the scenery. Hailuogou Jiaofeng Icefall, one of the 100 most beautiful scenic spots in Sichuan. Best shooting season: Four seasons. Best shooting time: All day long.

There is only time for a hot pot meal in Chengdu.
But it was them. I changed my ticket on the day of the puncture and decided to stay in Chengdu for one more day and then go to Dali, hahahaha!
After finishing the hot pot, the neighbors went to check in their cars, and I was responsible for seeing off my roommate at the airport. This is the end of the self-driving trip in western Sichuan.
Traveling is great, and remembering travel is to do it again, which is even better. Looking forward to next time.
