2. There are many benefits to writing travel notes.
I arrived home on December 10. After a short rest, I started writing my travel notes. I read through and sorted out the 3982 photos and videos taken on the way, looked up information online, and reviewed the written materials taken during my visit to the museum. I wrote my first travel diary on January 11, 2021, and then I wrote one post every day for 21 days. I completed the 21st post today. This is the perfect end of my trip to South China.
Over the past month, I have experienced a lot in the process of writing travel notes. Each travel note is like revisiting the old place. By consulting the background information of the scenic spots, I have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, geography and history.
Through this intensive training, my writing skills have been improved, and I have become more proficient in typing speed, computer use, and WeChat public platform.
3. Travel, the main way of life
Travel has become the main way of life for us retired people. Which way to choose food, accommodation and transportation is the main topic discussed by travel friends. We have basically determined the following self-driving travel principles:
Travel in spring and autumn every year, avoid winter vacation, summer vacation and national statutory holidays (except for special seasonal attractions); travel to the west and the Central Plains in spring, and choose the south direction in autumn and winter; mainly prepare your own meals, supplemented by local characteristics. Prepare enough food ingredients and tableware for meals on the way;
For accommodation, resort hotel apartments with good sanitary conditions are preferred, which is convenient for "migratory birds" to take a short vacation. They can stay in cities or scenic spots where they feel comfortable for many days.
