Hailuogou Glacier, also known as Glacier No. 1, is located in Luding County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Region, Sichuan Province. Kangding The glacier is 14.7 kilometers long and is one of the only remaining low-altitude glaciers in the world. It is the longest of the 71 glaciers in Mount Gongga, with an area of 16 square kilometers. The highest altitude is 6,750 meters and the lowest altitude is only 2,850 meters. The glacier extends into the green forest for 6 kilometers in the "U"-shaped canyon, like a long tongue, passing through the cliffs on both sides and stretching straight into the green primeval forest.

It is said that people standing on the glacier can enjoy the wonderful scene of the coexistence of green trees and snow-capped canyons on both sides of the glacier. People can also go to the glacier to experience the magic of the "Crystal World".

Take in the view!

We stayed overnight at a farm near Camp No. 1 of Hailuogou National Forest Park (elevation 1940m). We soaked in hot springs at night to wash away our fatigue. Although the village was without power and air conditioning due to thunderstorms at night, we could still make it with the windows open. Feeling the coolness in the mountains and the freshness in the air after the rain, we were not disturbed by the heat. We breathed in the fresh mountain air, smelled the fragrance of flowers, grass and bamboo forests, and fell asleep soundly.

When I get up in the morning and look far away, I can see that the top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist. The white mist wraps around the mountain lightly, winding and twisting. The sunlight does not penetrate the clouds. The woods stand tall and tall among the light clouds and mist, like a fairy's body wrapped with white hand gauze, with uneven shapes. The shape, standing quietly in the ink painting, is both a scene and a painting.

At eight o'clock in the morning, we got on the park sightseeing bus and rushed to the Hailuogou Glacier on the top of the mountain. The bus slowly climbed up the mountain road. The sun first came through, the fog dispersed and the clouds opened. In the blink of an eye, the ink painting turned into an oil painting, with birds flying and animals walking around. The mountains were clear, the water was beautiful, the birds were singing and the flowers were fragrant. Palms and bamboos dot the Han and Yi villages, and quiet and elegant subtropical mountain village pastoral scenery comes into view from time to time.

Hailuogou

Walk 7 kilometers from Camp No. 1 to the hot spring health center of Camp No. 2 (elevation 2660m) by the hot water ditch. There is a hot spring in Camp No. 2. From a distance, it is misty and spectacular. This spring is the most famous hot water ditch boiling spring in Hailuogou.

Continuing forward, we came to Camp No. 3 (elevation 2980m), which is an ideal location to view the "Rizhao Jinshan". "Rizhao Jinshan" is one of the five wonders of Hailuogou.

Whenever the weather is fine and the morning glow shines on the snow-capped peaks above 6,300 meters above sea level such as the Sanlian Peak, Jinyin Mountain, and Wuming Peak on the south side of Gongga Mountain, the silver-white snow peaks are instantly covered with a dazzling layer of light. Golden yellow, splendid and magnificent, but because we arrived at more than nine o'clock, we missed the best viewing time of "Rizhao Jinshan" in spring and summer around 6:40, and could only see the hazy mountains shrouded in clouds and mist under the blue sky and white clouds. ,Regrets.

Everyone walked in groups for five minutes to the cableway station and headed to the viewing platform of Camp No. 4 (3,400m above sea level). The cableway sightseeing car slowly ascended from the platform. The mountainside was filled with cold temperate coniferous forests, towering and lush, like a Guards stood all over the mountain. After ascending to a height of more than 100 meters, the observation car took us into a canyon. Directly below were countless large and small rocks, and in the distance ahead was a dark brown ravine. Someone introduced That was the glacier tongue. Seeing my skeptical expression, my friend added that the glacier has melted a lot. The glacier tongue is under these gullies, and its surface is covered by some debris flow appendages, so it looks dark brown...

The scenery on both sides of the canyon has to be in awe of the power of nature, because the best test of the power of mudslides is the erosion marks on the surface, which also appear on the steep mountain. Looking at the mountain, it looks like a man with messy hair and ragged clothes. The back side of the mountain is towering and lush, the roots of the towering trees are exposed outside the cliff, the fallen trees hang on the waist of the cliff, etc. It is the miraculous workmanship of nature, and it is also the power of nature!

When we got to the end of the ropeway, we walked out into a forest of shrubs. Although it was July, the flowers had faded and scattered. Fortunately, in the woods, we could still see one or two conches and azaleas that were still in full bloom, pale white and alone. Hidden among the green leaves and blooming under the blue sky and white clouds, people not only like it but also feel holy and dignified.

We couldn't kiss the ice tongue, so we looked to the west of the observation deck. There were too many clouds and fog on the top of the mountain, and we could only see some white spots on the mountain in the distance. To the left, there was a waterfall flowing down from the nearby mountain. It is not wide, but the water splash is huge. At first glance, on the platform, the altitude is 3,400 meters, and there is a lot of cold air. Fortunately, we are wearing jackets, zipped up, which can resist the cold air, which makes us feel comfortable. Be patient and wait on the observation deck!

Slowly, the clouds and mist on the top of the mountain in the distance gradually began to fade. Slowly, the area of white snow was quietly expanding, spreading to the top of the mountain, stretching to both sides, spreading and spreading, stretching and stretching...

The top of the mountain has a full view. Although it is hazy, we can see the general picture, deep into the clouds, covered with white snow, and the belly is faintly blue, as if inlaid with sapphires. The scenery is spectacular, majestic and beautiful!

We went down the mountain with a little regret, and as the cable car went down, we still looked up, with expectation and greed, hoping that the miracle would happen again, and let us take a peek at the beautiful and spectacular snow-capped mountains and glaciers...

The hazy beauty flashed by, and soon the clouds and mist covered the top of the mountain under the veil, hiding the beauty and magnificence in the haze, allowing the world to remember it with nostalgia and miss it even more.
