Because I have lived in Guangzhou for several years, I didn’t need to go to many of the famous attractions I had visited. I only went to Chimelong Wildlife Park. Tickets need to be purchased on the platform one day in advance. I compared Ctrip and the official website and purchased tickets on Meituan for 238 yuan/person, which is relatively cheaper by 5 yuan.
My sister and I made several trips from our childhood memories to the hotel we booked near Wanda Plaza in Panyu, Guangzhou. The three of us set off to Chimelong Wildlife Park around nine in the morning, and it cost about ten yuan to take a taxi. As soon as I went out, I realized that it had suddenly started raining heavily. I saw many pedestrians without umbrellas, and I felt a little relieved. It turned out that we were not the only ones who were unlucky enough to not bring umbrellas.

The rain had stopped when we arrived at Chimelong Wildlife Park. Under the guidance of the staff, we first scanned the code to register and receive the QR code for entering the park, then showed the health code to queue up to enter the park, and swiped the QR code at the gate to enter the park. I suggest that when you want to go to Chimelong Wildlife Park, you must take a group photo at the main entrance, because it is not necessarily the main entrance when you come out, and only the main entrance has mascots that you can take pictures with. After entering the park, you will see many signs and maps, as well as performance times and locations. You can watch the performances according to the time. We went to see the flamingos first. The clear lake water revealed shallow clear waves among the tropical rainforest vegetation. A group of flamingos looked like students in a self-study class. Following the one-way street, we arrived at the surrounding stores. I originally wanted to buy some souvenirs, but I took a picture and went to Taobao to find it with a lucky mentality, but I couldn't find it when I went home. Another small regret left.
When we passed by the cable car station, the staff told us that it was free. As soon as we heard the word free, we jumped in line to get on the cable car. We who are hard-working and frugal must save money when we can, but when it’s time to have fun and spend time, we can’t save money. For example, after getting off the cable car, it was time for lunch, so I went to have lunch. After seeing the discount, we bought the set meal for 46 per portion. It's a bit expensive, but you still need to eat, and there are performances to watch.
Chimelong Wildlife Park is really suitable for children to visit. We just went to make up for our childhood regrets. After all, we never went to such a big zoo when we were young!
Chimelong Wildlife Park is indeed the largest zoo in Asia. After visiting a few attractions, everyone couldn't walk anymore and could only sit on the chairs in Swan Lake to rest their breath. My trip to Guangzhou ended at the Chimelong Wildlife Park.
