This is a travelogue that was delayed for more than a year, and this journey was also delayed for more than a year.
I don’t know if this arrangement has been predestined by God, but I just thought that since the cry in my heart has reached a point that cannot be ignored, let’s go ahead with it.
The destination of this journey is Iceland (Iceland), a small country.
One afternoon in the summer of 2017, I accidentally saw an introduction to the scenery of Iceland on a WeChat public account, and I immediately fell in love with this place. That night, I read a lot of introductions and travel notes about Iceland like crazy, checked the air tickets excitedly, and forwarded them to my friends.
After everything was ready and ready to go, my friend told me that she had already made arrangements.
So a seed called Iceland with regret was quietly planted in my heart.
Another year later, Comrade Lao Liang asked me if there was any place I wanted to visit during the National Day.
I said, I still want to go to Iceland.
She said, go.
So this journey began.
Iceland is actually very small.
The journey around the island is about 2,000 kilometers and can take 7-14 days. Here, you can see waterfalls, beaches, glaciers, ice caves, glacier lakes, volcanoes, snow-capped mountains, geysers, geothermal heat, aurora...
In short, there will definitely be no aesthetic fatigue. All in all, it’s an absolutely gorgeous visual feast .
Because time was too tight, we couldn't stay in a quiet and comfortable town for a few days.
Although it is a bit regretful, it doesn't matter. I always feel that there is still a chance.
The roads here are basically two-way single lanes. Although it seems inconvenient, it is actually very comfortable to drive because there are very few cars on the road.
Miraculously, there are very few traffic lights in this country, we only saw traffic lights in the capital and Arare (one of the top three cities).
Elsewhere, the city is so quiet that people dare not speak loudly.
Not only are there few cars and people, there are also very few buildings.
When the wind blows, I once thought that if I was given an umbrella that would not break, the wind could take me anywhere in Iceland.
One of the most unforgettable things here is the appearance of the Aurora.
Because I had a very tight schedule for the day, I didn’t go out of my way to wait for the Aurora.
But on the second night before leaving, I suddenly heard a loud noise outside. I thought something had happened and I ran out to take a look. In the sky full of stars, the aurora turned green and purple, like a thin layer of fluorescent green gauze. Floating in the air.
Magical and dreamy, beautiful and natural.
My eyes were hot at that moment.
That’s the meaning of travel.
In a strange place, some wonders and touches are left behind, allowing this living body to experience another sense of vitality.

Of course, in every journey, apart from the joyful moment of pressing the shutter, there will also be regrettable moments when the trip is crossed out.
But for me, no matter what kind of mental experience it is, it can become a precious souvenir.
