Today we set off from Zhangye, passed through Jiayuguan, and arrived at Dunhuang in the evening. The whole journey was 600 kilometers, which meant we spent most of the day in the car driving. If you choose to drive in the northwest, be careful, you may drive to the point of death.
I only visited one scenic spot in the whole day, and I wasn’t too interested in Jiayuguan, which is known as “the most majestic pass in the world”. I’ll post some photos~

The city walls on both sides of Jiayuguan pass across the Gobi desert, connected to the Heishan Hanging Great Wall to the north and The First Pier in the World to the south. It is the westernmost pass of the Ming Great Wall . It was once known as the throat of Hexi in history. Due to its dangerous terrain and majestic architecture, it was known as the key to the border. Jiayuguan is a transportation fortress of the ancient "Silk Road" and one of the three wonders of the Great Wall of China (Shanhaiguan in the east and Zhenbeitai in the middle y13>, there is Jiayuguan in the west).

Tomorrow we will see Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, Mogao Grottoes, and Emerald Lake

Got up early and went to bed~
