I took some old friends to Turkey. I originally wanted to go to Kamakura Fuji in Tokyo, but I found out that National Day air tickets were not cost-effective. So I searched around and found that the air tickets to Turkey were reasonably priced, so I happily decided to go to Turkey. have a look.

Day 5 Selcuk——>Pamukkale, stay in Pamukkale.
You can take a bus or a train from Selcuk to Pamukkale. The bus is also at the bus station in the center of the town, but we decided to take the train because it was cheap and comfortable.
Here is the train schedule:
The fare from Selcuk to Denizli is 17.5 lire, and it takes about 3.5 hours to get to Denizli. There is a huge bus terminal diagonally opposite to the left hand side of the Denizli train station, and you can take minibuses on the first floor. Going to Pamukkale costs 4.5 lire per person.
I want to complain here. There may not be many people taking the train, so some of the guides are very vague. They all say that when you get off the train at the square in front of the station, there is a minibus to Pamukkale soliciting passengers at the entrance of the train station.
As a result, we were confused when we got off the bus. There was no square outside the train station. Searching for bus stops on Google Maps only showed Turkish place names. We had no idea what was going on.
Later, based on my many years of raid experience, I felt that there were many minibuses heading this way, and I also felt that the shape of the building diagonally opposite looked a bit like a bus terminal, so I walked over and tried my luck. Oh my god, I finally found it ( I was moved to tears)
Of course, there are actually taxis at the entrance of the train station that can take you to Pamukkale, and they cost 60 lire. . We thought it was too much of a rip off and didn't sit down.
In the afternoon, we finally arrived at Pamukkale. What I want to say is that there is really nothing to do in Pamukkale, just food and accommodation. The scenic spots from to are quite interesting. The whole thing is a huge snow-white calcification pool on a hillside, sparkling in the sun. The top of the mountain is the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, and there is also a hot spring swimming pool.
However, the amount of water in Pamukkale is too little now. We can only drain the calcification pools on several sides in turn to ensure that the travertine will not disappear. The kind of photos you can take depends on which part of the calcification pool is drained on the day you go. It will look best. It’s this area, but there was no water in this part when we went there.
You must go to Pamukkale when the sun is out. It looks dirty without the sun, but it looks white and shiny when there is the sun.
The sunset here is good and worth watching. It closes at 9 o'clock in the summer and 8 o'clock in the winter. You can take pictures of the stars.
The ruins swimming pool on the top of the mountain has a separate fee of 50 lire per person. It is hot spring water. There were too many people when we went there, so we didn’t go in, but it was quite interesting to think about soaking in a hot spring in a pile of ancient Greek pillars.
The shortest way from Pamukkale town to the scenic spot is to walk up the mountain from the middle gate, and you must take off your shoes. Walking barefoot on the calcified travertine is just like Daoshan Mountain. It is highly recommended to bring a pair of diving socks here! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! You can wear socks but no shoes
In addition, you can take a taxi to the south gate, which is about 2 kilometers away. I don’t know the appropriate price. Anyway, the hotel owner ripped us off and charged us 30 lire. When you enter the south gate, you are directly at the ancient city on the top of the mountain. But if you go down the mountain at 8:30 pm like me, you won’t be able to get a taxi and will have to go back up the mountain.
You can also take a hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale in the morning, but because the overlooking scenery is too ordinary, there are not many people sitting on it, and there are only a few lonely balloons, so it is not very good to take pictures.
