Seeing that the next holiday is coming, I have to quickly hand in my May Day homework.

Before departure, when talking about Mosca, nine out of ten friends would ask: Ah, are you going abroad? Wait, wait, friends, Mosca is not Moscow. It is located next to the Jinlong Snow Mountain in Danba, Sichuan, across the two prefectures of Garze and Aba. It means an auspicious and flat place in Tibetan.

China's last village

In order to avoid traffic jams, we set off a day early and rested in Luding at night. In the car, I met three friends who had been to Sanencuo together. As expected, the outdoors is a circle.

We set off from Luding Bridge early in the morning and arrived in Danba County at noon. Here we took a local van to Mosca Village. This legendary village where heaven and man are one, the last village in China, has 4G access, and it seems to have taken the shape of a tourist village. In the afternoon, I just wandered around the village. There were not many people, but everyone gathered together. The architecture is also very ethnic.

The cute human cubs are very shy, and most of them can’t speak Chinese well.

Mosca's marmot is world-famous, also known as the Snow Bead. Xuezhuzi may be the earliest resident of Mosca Grassland. He has been neighbors with the local residents for generations and has lived in harmony. Every visitor who comes here will prepare small biscuits and other food to feed them in advance, and they will also stand upright and bow their hands to reward everyone.

Moska Village—Gucencuo

The hike officially started on May 2nd, and it was customary to take a group photo first.

GuCencuo is the first camp, with an altitude of 4300, about seven kilometers away from Mosca Village. There are many white bones of cattle and sheep around Gucencuo. I wonder if this is why it got its name. All the friends had arrived at noon, and everyone was still excited to leave.

After playing and taking pictures, sit and wait for the equipment. The yak team finally arrived at around four in the afternoon. After quickly setting up the tent, they found a meal tent and started preparing dinner. The young lady was so kind when I first met her. The cold dishes, fried bacon, and crispy meat soup were simply too rich.

I can only start by fetching water and boiling water. Shortly after finishing the meal, it started to snow, and it started to snow harder and harder. I got into the tent and read a novel that I had written in advance, shaking off the tent from time to time. I don’t know when the snow stopped, but it was already covered in snow the next day.

Gucencuo—Dahaizi

To walk in the snow, you first have to cross the 4600 Shuanglianhai Pass. From the pass, you can see two connected seas, one large and one small, which are called double connected seas.

I took a photo with Sister Mengmeng in Shuanglianhai, and she disappeared not long after.

I didn’t want to climb uphill, so I walked in a straight line along the river valley. There were swamps along the road, and there were a lot of bugs. When I walked through the bushes, the bugs were all over my body, and I instantly got goosebumps. In early May, the plateau was still awake, with only some small flowers blooming against the turf.

Finally we reached the second camp, Chang Haizi. When I arrived, many friends had already set up tents. Knowing that Sister Xianyun was still behind me and that she might arrive very late, I quickly searched around the campground twice before finding Sister Xianyun's bag. I took out the tent, sleeping bag, and moisture-proof mat to dry and set up. After finishing, I heard that there were two more sea creatures on the mountains in the distance. I said hello to my friends and went to look for the sea.

There is indeed a flat campground in front of Shangxiahaizi, and it should be possible to camp. The weather was bad, so I took out the Molly card and hurried back. It took more than an hour and I almost missed dinner. Dinner was just as rich as yesterday. I had three bowls of sour radish and duck soup and a bowl of seaweed noodle soup. Life was perfect.

In the evening, I chatted with Sister Xianyun in the tent, read a novel for a while, and woke up at dawn, which showed that I had adapted to high-reflection.

Dahaizi-Malkan

On the last day of the crossing trip, the guide led everyone along the ridge. They had to climb several hills in a row, and they were already numb from walking.

After crossing the last 4600 pass, we reached the climax of this trip, the Beef Liver and Horse Lung Sea, also known as the Sea of True Love.

The shape of the lake is like liver and lungs, but I think it looks more like a butterfly. After taking the check-in photo, I walked all the way to the lake with Sister Meng. The lake was blue, a bit like the water of Lugu Lake.

Walk along the lake to the meeting point and take a van to the bus meeting point. In line with the principle of "Come Come, Come Come", I chartered a car with four or five friends to go to the last scenic spot, Lover's Sea. A scenic spot has been built here and can be completed in five minutes.

Around four o'clock in the afternoon, we headed to Markang and had the time-honored yak hotpot for dinner, paired with my brother's highland barley wine. It was awesome.

We returned to Chengdu on the 5th, bought three kilograms of cherries, and ate them all the way. We returned to Chengdu at around two o'clock in the afternoon, and the trip ended perfectly.
