Preface

According to the ten-year visit plan to famous mountains in China formulated last year, I will visit 2-3 famous mountains every year, roughly once in March, July and/or November. At the end of March this year, I climbed the highest peak of Wuzhi Mountain in Hainan (visiting the famous mountain Wuzhi Mountain in Hainan), and decided to visit Lushan this time. The main reason why I chose Lushan Mountain is that Lushan Mountain is relatively easy to climb, has a good humanistic and natural environment, and has mature scenic area development facilities. I have been in poor health recently, so I consider half traveling and half recuperating. In fact, I also brought 10 packets of boiled Chinese medicine with me on this trip. During the trip, I insisted on taking the medicine once in the morning and evening every day. Facts have proved that my choice was correct. Lushan has a pleasant climate and is indeed a summer resort. The breeze on the mountain is refreshing, but not cold. When I got off the cable car, the slightest breeze blew against my face. I instantly felt more relaxed than ever before, as if I was relieved. The reason why I wrote my travel notes before going down the mountain is because: Since I am a guest in Mount Lu, I can enjoy the scenery of Mount Lu. Forget about Guangzhou and return to Lushan. When you return to Guangzhou on Friday, you can live a solid life in Guangzhou.

As for the trip to Lushan, I have no intention of writing a guide, but I did do some homework beforehand. Interested readers can click on the reference link at the end of the article to learn more. I only share my personal food, accommodation and travel plans, tour routes and personal insights.

(The scenery outside when the hotel skylight is opened)

advantage:

  • The boss was hospitable and patient. He provided scenic route maps and detailed explanations, which saved me the trouble of searching for guides. They also borrowed the refrigerator to help me store the traditional Chinese medicine that I had prepared for decoction;
  • The boss is serious and responsible, and the phone can be opened 24 hours a day. Because I didn't pay attention in advance, I went out to watch the sunrise at 04:10 in the morning and found that the hotel door was closed. I called the boss and she got the call right away and told me to take the side door on the second floor;
  • It is close to Guanyun Pavilion. Go straight to the right and go up. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to Guanyun Pavilion, which is convenient for watching the sunset;
  • The skylight can be opened in the tatami room on the top floor. It is a novel experience to stick your head out and watch the surrounding scenery (the video recorded by the author standing on the bed with his head sticking out of the roof is attached below). You can still see the stars in the sky at night without closing the curtains.

(Open the skylight)

Disadvantages: The rooms are small, but as far as the author understands, land in Lushan is very expensive, and all hotel rooms are small. But although the sparrow is small, it has all the internal organs. Except for the inconvenience of working in the tatami room, everything else is good.

3. Catering

Kuling town has everything. The main restaurants and supermarkets are located on Kuling Street (between Huiyuan Intersection Station and Zhengjie Station). The only Western food options are Dicos and KFC. There is no Starbucks, there are some self-operated coffee shops. There are many Chinese restaurants, and fruit shops and convenience stores can be found everywhere, which is very convenient. Prices are quite reasonable, for example, a 500ml bottle of Nongfu Spring costs 2 yuan. I think the prices of catering are relatively reasonable, for example:

Rice + stir-fried twice-cooked pork + small pot soup: 42 yuan

Half bowl of fried rice + fried meat with mountain bamboo shoots: 53 yuan

Stir-fried Jiangxi rice noodles with eggs and beef: 20 yuan

Dining outside the attractions will be a little more expensive, but it’s not too outrageous.

(Guling Street)

My west route tour route is (about 20,000 steps in total): Jinxiu Valley → Immortal Cave → Bai Juyi Thatched Cottage → Ruqin Lake → Datianchi → Longshou Cliff → Suspension Bridge → Xinglong Cableway → Return to Guling Street

Morning: Take the sightseeing bus from Huiyuan Road Station to Huajing Station , walk along Jinxiu Valley to Xianren Cave , Walk back to Huajing Station from the opposite route, pass by Bai Juyi Thatched Cottage , then visit Ruqin Lake opposite Huajing Station, and then walk from Huajing Take the sightseeing bus at and get off at Datianchi Station , walk to Longshou Cliff , go down the mountain to Suspension Bridge , cross the suspension bridge and walk to Xinglong Cableway, buy a ticket and take the cable car to West Line Terminal , take the sightseeing bus to Zhengjie Station for lunch.

(The old man singing freely on the flower path)

Remark:

1. I gave up the Shimen Stream and Power Station Dam . It is reported that walking from the suspension bridge to Shimen Stream requires a return trip, and the round trip takes more than an hour;

2. Walk down the mountain (stone steps) from Longshou Cliff to the suspension bridge, which takes about 50 minutes;

3. I set off at around 7:50 in the morning and returned to Guling Street for lunch around 12:40.

Then take the sightseeing bus to Xiaotianchi Station and visit Xiaotianchi Scenic Spot for about 1 hour.

Evening: Walk to Guanyun Pavilion Listen to the wind Watch the sunset, Return to the hotel about 19:30 to write and rest.

Xiaotianchi

Xiaotianchi is located at the terminal station at one end of the west line. It only takes one stop to get to from Zhengjie Station . However, since there are fewer tourists going to Xiaotianchi, you should confirm with the driver that you are indeed driving to Xiaotianchi Station before getting on the bus . Many of the staff responsible for boarding management are volunteers. The bus stops are not clear, so please refer to the driver’s information. After arriving at Xiaotianchi, it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk up the mountain to Wuzhu Pavilion.

This pavilion called "Wuzhu" is an excellent place for viewing. The scenery on all sides is unobstructed, and the breeze is whistling by, making you forget to leave. Since the author is studying the Diamond Sutra, I happen to know the origin of the name of the pavilion. Non-dwelling, from the "Diamond Sutra" "A Bodhisattva should have no dwelling in the Dharma and should practice giving." It means that a Bodhisattva should regard giving as natural, have no prejudice against all living beings, and give to himself. There is no need to worry about the merits and virtues, reaching the state of "emptiness".

(Enjoy the surrounding scenery from Muju Pavilion)

My east-line tour route is (about 32,000 steps in total): Hanpokou (watching the sunrise) → Wulao Peak → Sandie Spring → Lulin Lake → Lushan Museum → Return to Guling Street

Morning: 04:30Take the bus to Hanpokou and wait to see the sunrise. Return to the hotel at about 6:30 and take a short rest after breakfast. Depart at about 8:00 to Huiyuan Road Station and take the sightseeing bus to Hanpokou Station transfer to the sightseeing bus to Wulaofeng . After climbing the five peaks of Wulaofeng, go down to Sandiequan Cable Car and get off to for lunch outside.

Afternoon: After lunch, walk 3.2 kilometers to the outside of Sandiequan Scenic Area, walk 1300 steps down the mountain to Sandiequan, then return the same way and walk 1300 steps Go back to the Sandiequan Cable Car Station outside the Sandiequan Scenic Area , take the cable car to the Sandiequan Cable Car Station, get off and walk to the sightseeing station and take the sightseeing bus to the Museum Station , walk to Lushan Museum , and visit Lulin Lake on the way. Then walk outside the lake and take a taxi back to Kuling Street for a meal and a walk, and then return to the hotel to rest and write.

(Mr. Li Wenyu from the Second Peak of Wulao Peak assisted in the shooting)

Remark:

1. Transferring to the sightseeing bus at Hanpokou Station to Wulaofeng or Sandiequan requires a long wait. I waited for about 1 hour;

2. There are five peaks in Wulao Peak. Climb slowly and enjoy the scenery and take photos. The tour lasts about 3 hours. From Wufeng, walk down the mountain to Sandiequan Cable Car Station;

3. To go to the Sandiequan scenic spot, you need to take the cable car or walk 3.2 kilometers (about 40 minutes) , and then go back and forth with a total of 2,600 steps , which is very hard. But in fact, the scenery is not amazing. I think if you don’t have enough time or your physical strength is not particularly good, you can choose to give up. If you really want to go , it is recommended to take the cable car both ways because the one-way fare of the cable car is 55 yuan and the round trip is only 80 yuan. Taking the cable car will help save your energy for going up and down the steps;

4. I gave up four scenic spots: Meilu, Lushan Conference Site, Botanical Garden and Dakou Waterfall. The hotel owner told me that there is no Dakou Falls to see during the current season, and there are few plants in the botanical garden in July, so there is no need to go there. It is recommended to come in November to enjoy the maple leaves.

(Selfie at the fourth peak of Wulao Peak)

1. Watch the sunrise from Hanpo (pó) mouth

You can make a reservation at any sightseeing station to watch the sunrise the next morning. The reservation period is 15:30-17:00. After the reservation, you can go to Zhengjie Station at 04:30 the next day. Gather and set off. The bus ride from Zhengjie Station to Hanpokou Station takes about 10 minutes . After getting off, walk for about 10 minutes to the sunrise viewing venue. The bus returns to Zhengjie Station before 06:30. If you do not get on the bus after the time limit, you can wait until 07:00 when the sightseeing bus starts operating, then take the sightseeing bus back or go to the scenic spots .

2. Climb the Wulao Peak to the Five Peaks
Wulaofeng's Second Peak, Fourth Peak and Fifth Peak have better views, but the mountains are covered with clouds and fog, and visibility is low. You can sit quietly and let the wind blow, waiting for the wind to blow and the fog to disperse. The air in the mountains is fresh, cool and comfortable, and there are not many people. It is a good place to relax.

3. View waterfalls at Sandiequan

As mentioned above, it is recommended to take the cable car to the entrance of Sandiequan scenic spot, and then walk down the steps to Sandiequan. The cable car route is 1,496 meters long and takes 6 minutes to complete. If you choose to walk instead of taking the cable car, the trail is 3,200 meters long and has more than 940 steps. It takes 40-60 minutes to walk.

4. Lulin Lake→Lushan Museum

Lulin Lake is very beautiful. Because of the constant breeze, the lake surface is always sparkling. Walk for about 10 minutes along Lulin Lake to enter the Lushan Museum.

It is worth mentioning that the poet and calligrapher Mr. Wu Xinwei outside the Lushan Museum has great literary talent. He immediately wrote a poem in my name and wrote it in calligraphy.

Chen Feng

Reading thousands of volumes of descriptive poetry

Good weather and good weather all year round

Concise heroic words

Carry forward righteousness and I will be the vanguard

After just a few words of conversation with me, Mr. Wu understood that I have a straightforward personality, a sense of justice, and a heroic spirit between my brows. Thanks to your appreciation for your writing style, I will try my best to do better.

Watch the sunset at Guanyun Pavilion

I went to Guanyun Pavilion on the 12th and 13th respectively. The sunset pictures I took on the 12th are as follows:

The sunset process captured on the 13th is as follows:

Except for sunset, the Guanyun Pavilion area is very windy and is a good place to listen to the wind. Guanyun Pavilion is a landscape in itself.

postscript

This was also a casual trip. I didn’t tell anyone on purpose, and I didn’t post it on friends as frequently as usual. However, I have been a person who "likes" communicating and sharing since I was a child, but as I get older, especially after I am 30 years old, I dislike talking less and less. Due to poor health, I have become more and more silent for more than a month. I didn’t have any serious illness, I just felt weak and had limited energy. Coupled with three years of heart palpitations and poor sleep quality, I felt at one point that I had more than enough energy but not enough energy. Therefore, we can only make subtractions in life and use our limited energy on the cutting edge. Gradually, I discovered that there are not as many important things in life as I imagined. In addition to daily life and work, if I still have spare time, I will start writing. Writing is a process of dialogue with myself. In this process, I began to slowly understand myself, accept myself, get close to myself, and become myself. If I have more energy, I would read books, study and get close to nature. Mountaineering is a way for me to get close to nature.

Because of heart palpitations and intermittent fatigue, I gradually said goodbye to staying up late, and formed a stable routine of going to bed at 22:00, getting up at 05:30, and going out for a half-hour walk every morning or evening. Many of the habits and things that used to occupy my time and energy are no longer attractive to me. I no longer pay attention to social media, and I no longer like to share details of my life. Eating is eating, drinking water is drinking water. I no longer take photos to record whether my meals are good or not; Taking medicine is just taking medicine. I no longer tell my friends how bitter the medicine tastes. I only know how good it is for me. The condition is beneficial, just follow the doctor's advice and drink it with peace of mind; sleep is sleep, no longer bring your mobile phone into the bedroom, but bought a retro alarm clock from JD.com; take a walk, just take a walk, and don't take it out anymore Take photos with your phone or chat with friends to share. In less than half a month since I made these changes, I began to feel more peaceful than ever before. Illness is undoubtedly a torture to my body; but it is a test to my will; it is a test to my faith; it is a baptism to my soul.

As for the dwindling desire to communicate, I have found that the more people communicate with each other, the more misunderstandings occur. We cannot truly be understood by anyone, nor can we truly understand anyone. Being misunderstood is normal, so we start to explain ourselves. The more we explain, the more we communicate and the more we misunderstand. At the same time, everyone wants to influence others, but everyone does not want to be influenced by others. This irreconcilable contradiction itself is also fertile ground for misunderstanding. This is why people in high positions or people who live a transparent life are often taciturn. This is not because they are not good at words, nor do they pretend to be profound, but they are just precise and precise. Nowadays, I still actively communicate when I encounter something at work or something. But in life, I tend to be quiet and alone more and more, and I am becoming more and more accustomed to being friends with myself. Fortunately , after staying in Lushan Mountain for a few days, not only did my health improve greatly, but my energy also returned to normal. When I said goodbye, it was no exaggeration to describe it as "unforgettable". I will definitely come back to visit again.
In the tourist souvenir shop near Xianren Cave, I also met another poet, who also wrote poems under his own name. The poems written by this gentleman were different from Mr. Wu’s artistic conception, but they were very consistent with my mood.
Chen Feng

Chen Ci splashes ink and writes macro essays

The wind is light and the clouds are light, and the hut is climbed

Fragrant and flawless

Sailing for thousands of miles

I like this poem very much, especially the third line, because I gave myself the nickname "Chen Feng", which is homophonic with my real name and means A ray of purity in the mundane world Wind. The world is full of disturbances, but the heart only wishes to come and go freely like the wind. After reading it, my friend KK modified the last two sentences:

Chen Ci splashes ink and writes macro essays

The wind is light and the clouds are light, and the hut is climbed

Breaking the cold, spotless and spotless

Waves set sail for thousands of miles

In the past I might have liked to "ride the wind and waves", but now I prefer to "sail with the current". When times are good, go with the flow, and when times are bad, go against the flow. This is more in line with my current state of mind. But the poems written by my friend KK reflect her state of mind. Each of us mirrors ourselves in some way in relationships and communications.

There are many people in this world who are born knowing what they want , but there are still many people , who are not so clear , but they definitely know what they don’t want. What. I used to belong to the latter, but now I belong to the former. But there is no right or wrong between the two before and after , the former will find his own way faster , he will experience a lot less other scenery ; the latter will have more experience Experience more , and then eliminate irrelevant , and finally go on the right path. Human life is also a process of constantly completing oneself. Everyone will have new pursuits at every stage , need new strength , find new positioning and meaning. As personal thoughts and realm continue to improve , the things we were previously attached to are no more than that, and those troubles that we were once deeply troubled by will eventually disappear.

Finally, Lushan, wait for me to come back to see the maple leaves.
