This article mainly talks about Huangguoshu and Xiaoqikong, which are very famous attractions in Guizhou and must-have attractions for tourist groups.

Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in Zhenning Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province. It is said that the place names in Guizhou are very long. Generally, various autonomous prefectures and autonomous counties are self-governing by two ethnic groups, but the order of the names is not sure how they are arranged. Anshun is about two hours drive from Guiyang. We arrived at 10:30 in the morning and finished shopping around 4:30, and spent about six hours.

The scenic area consists of three main parts: Tianxing Bridge, Huangguoshu Waterfall, and Doupotang. You may not have heard of Doupotang, but you must have seen it. In Journey to the West, "You carry the load, and I lead the way." This is where the four masters and apprentices led their horses across the river. The Doupotang Waterfall is not a large waterfall, and the entire scenic spot is not large. , you can finish the tour in half an hour. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the waterfall we often see. The scenic spot is just to circle around the waterfall and watch the waterfall from all angles. It seems that there is not much to see. Tianxing Bridge has a larger area for sightseeing and richer landscapes, including strange rocks, flowing water, forests, waterfalls, etc. It is said that Gao Laozhuang in "Journey to the West" was filmed here, but unfortunately I have long forgotten what Gao Laozhuang in "Journey to the West" looks like.

In addition, I remember that it was said in the textbook that Huangguoshu Waterfall is the third waterfall in the world? I can't seem to find this explanation now, and I don't know if I remembered it wrong. It seems that it is now said to be the largest in Asia? Regardless of the number, the actual height of this waterfall is 77.8 meters, of which the main waterfall is 67 meters high; the waterfall is 101 meters wide, and the top of the main waterfall is 83.3 meters wide. Because tourists always view it from a distance from different angles. I don’t have a clear feeling about whether it is 100 meters or 50 meters. I just feel that the sound is huge and the water mist is splashing. Just looking back and thinking about it, 100 meters is still quite wide.

Generally speaking, I think there are not many surprises and surprises in Huangguoshu Waterfall.

The entire valley is shrouded in the water mist splashed by the waterfall from the sky. However, it is not the rainy season and the amount of water is not large. You can do it without wearing a raincoat, but the camera is always troubled by water vapor.

This area is the Doupotang Waterfalls. It is rare to find a quiet place after coming out of the large waterfalls with huge crowds of people.

Travel Notes on the West

Same style as Journey to the West

The following are the Tianxing Bridge attractions, which are considered the most worth visiting in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area. Generally, tour groups only visit the first half, but the scenery in the second half is better.

small seven holes

Xiaoqikong is located in the mountains in the south of Libo County , not far from County , about half an hour's drive . LiboThere is also the ancient city of Libo in the county. Most tourists will eat and stay in the ancient city when they come. But it's a bit strange. The ancient city is brightly lit and full of people, but outside it is quiet and silent. I found out that there was a night market in the county town. I originally wanted to walk there to check it out, but I gave up because there were few pedestrians on the road, few shops on the roadside, and there was a section of road that looked like there were no street lights. It seems that the prosperity here is only in the ancient city, and there is another world outside the ancient city. But since I was only staying for one night, I might not have visited the right place. In addition, there are no shared bicycles in Guizhou. I am used to finding a bicycle to travel at any time. This is not possible here at all. I can only rely on my legs, which greatly shortens the scope of travel.

Next, let’s talk briefly about Xiao Qikong. Xiaoqikong is a very beautiful scenic spot integrating mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls. The scenic spot is named after a bluestone seven-hole arch bridge on the Xiangshui River. I personally think it is worth seeing more than Huangguoshu. It takes about six or seven hours to visit the entire scenic spot. Unfortunately, I did not arrange my time well. I wasted a lot of time on the less exciting attractions in the front, but I ran out of time on the most exciting place in the end.

There are many scenic spots in the scenic area. I will choose the most worth seeing: first, the section from the 68-level waterfall through Laya Falls to Xiaoqikong Bridge is the essence of the entire scenic area and is worth visiting slowly; The second thing worth playing is Yuanyang Lake. This requires boating, and then rafting in the water forest. The fog is shrouded, light rain falls, and the trees are shady, just like a fairyland. It is very interesting.

The scenic spot has an east gate and a west gate. It seems that no matter which gate you come in from now, all tourists take sightseeing buses to Wolongtan near the west gate to start playing, and then play all the way down, and finally go to Xiaoqikong near the east gate, and then from Exit through the east gate. So the most essential part is at the end, so if you waste a lot of time in the front, it will be too late later.

In general, the water in Xiaoqikong is very beautiful, as green as jade and shrouded in mist, just like a fairyland.

Wolongtan

Yuanyang Lake

I guess Yuanyang Lake got its name from two ancient trees nestled together in the lake. You must row a boat to play this attraction. It costs 30 yuan per person and 4 people in a boat. The staff tells you whether the tour time is half an hour or 40 minutes, but the actual time is not timed. It's just that after one round, you'll be too tired to row, and you won't want to stay on the boat any longer. It usually only takes thirty or forty minutes to complete one round.

There are a lot of tourists during the National Day. Because everyone is a novice and is not very good at controlling the direction. They often let the boats collide with each other and are helpless. After the collision, they work hard to find the direction. We often manage to get the direction right, and then turn around when someone bumps into us, so we have to turn back with great effort. We also really studied how to draw the left and right sides respectively so that they would not get in the wrong direction or cancel each other out.

The aunts actually set up stalls here to sell mountain products. The working environment is quite beautiful.

From time to time, a burst of rain comes over, and then the mist rises. I really like this feeling.

Speaking of which, I studied photography techniques after visiting Huangguoshu to see how others photographed flowing water into satin-like . I probably followed Small aperture, The principle of slow shutter . But in my practice the effect seems to be imitation , the shutter speed is slow, my hands always shake ...
