It's time to show you a place, a vibrant free world where millions of animals run around naturally and enjoy themselves, and humans are just passers-by.
The wild animals there have the largest variety and largest number in the world .
Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, leopard, zebra, hippopotamus, giraffe, wildebeest, buffalo, black rhino, leopard, fox, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey, ground squirrel, ostrich, long-eared hedgehog , dozens of species of takin running on the grassland, various birds circling in the sky...
From June to September every year, Africa will stage the most spectacular animal migration scenes on earth.
Thousands of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes and other animals form a spectacular procession, traveling from the Serengeti Reserve in Tanzania to the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. The story of the cycle of life and death is staged during the Great Migration.
Along the way, they have to experience many dangers such as hunger, thirst, being hunted by natural enemies, and getting lost. In the end, only about 30% of the lucky ones can return to their starting point. Of course, there are also about 400,000 second-generation migrants born during the migration.
This is the story of the Great Migration of Animals that happens every year on the African savannah.
Safaris on the African savannah have become a core element of the African dream.

I found a picture of the great migration process of African animals on the Internet. It is very intuitive and can quickly understand the direction of their migration throughout the year.

From December to May of the following year, animals are scattered on the savannah from the southeast of Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Reserve. During this period, there is sufficient rain and abundant food.
In mid-to-late May, when the rain decreases, animals migrate to the northwest of the Serengeti for the beloved green grass and indispensable water sources.
June is the lactation period for animals. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest are born on the migration route, and many also die. The cycle of life is fully revealed.
In July and August, they cross the Mara River and arrive at the Masai Mara, where they stay until September.
In October, the grasslands of the Serengeti begin to turn green under the moisture of rain. At the same time, the Masai Mara, which is only about one-tenth of the Serengeti's area, is almost running out of food. They return to the Serengeti in a large loop from the southeast, and this process will continue. to November.
In December, the animals return to their former homes, losing a large number of their kind on the way. In these few months, they will recuperate and breed offspring. This is a happy and sweet time.

However, one thing needs to be clarified. During the non-migratory season, you can still see animals, and not as many as usual. We did this time.
Whenever I come here to see wild animals, I always come back with a lot of fun. It's just a different scale. For us who have only been to the zoo, this place is really shocking.
By the way, there are safari tours in many countries in Africa, but the most exciting ones are in Tanzania, which will not be carried out here.
Northwest Tanzania, where Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire are located, is the best safari destination on the entire African continent.

Although there are many kinds of animals, we still need to try our luck. We may encounter animals that the previous wave of teams did not encounter. This kind of opportunistic safari greatly increases the fun of exploration during the trip.
This safari group is from:
Miss Lei Lei from Changsha, me traveling as an outdoor photographer from Hunan Xiangye Travel, Lemon from Shanghai Qiaoge Expedition, and Xu Yi, a high-end home furnishing trainer in Shanghai.
The article presents all the animals we photographed this time. Let’s follow the camera into the animal world of the East African savannah.
Due to time constraints, we did not go to the Serengeti. According to the rhythm of one park per day, the safari trip itinerary is: Starting from Tarangire National Park → Ngorongoro National ParkLake Manyara National Park.
tarangire national park
Tarangire Park is named after the Tarangire River. It is about 75 miles southwest of Arusha. It is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania. Don’t think it is small because it occupies an area Covering an area of 2,850 square kilometers, this place is a paradise for elephants in Tanzania, with the densest elephant population.
It is not as world-renowned as the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Reserve, but it still has its advantages, even at the peak of the peak season (July-October). There are far fewer tourists than other parks, but there are not many wild animals.
Jeeps queue up at the door to enter and register, which takes about an hour.
Tanzania's national parks do not rely on entrance fees to protect the parks. The International Animal Fund provides a large amount of funds to achieve effective protection of the national parks and natural ecological environment.

Safari vehicles are basically the same
Specially modified to make it easier to open the skylight for observation and shooting
The road conditions are also quite good

Off-road vehicles drive into the gate of Tarangire Park
There is a big old tree next to it
It turns out that this is the famous baobab tree in Tarangire Park
The baobab tree has a huge crown and various branches.
It resembles a tree root and has a spectacular tree shape. The fruit is as big as a football and is sweet and juicy.
It is the favorite food of monkeys, orangutans, elephants and other animals
When the fruit ripens, monkeys come in droves
Climbing the tree to pick fruits to eat, hence the name "baobab tree"

How big is the baobab tree ?
Just use Lei Lei as a reference.
How ancient is it? It’s not a problem to live for five thousand years.
Teams queuing up for registration at the entrance
It takes about 40 minutes to complete the formalities.
Seeing that there were so many cars, they disappeared as soon as we entered the park.
Because the park is really too big
I didn’t know until I entered the park
It turned out to be an endless prairie
This is a ground squirrel
They are the first wild animals we meet
So put it first
Tree squirrel is showing off its jumping skills on the tree
The ground squirrel said it would dig holes if it had the guts.
Why can’t people just get off the car?
Look at these looming things in the grass
I will give a few mouthfuls to those who get off the bus without warning.
Catch a herd of adorable gazelles
Why is it called gazelle? The two eyes are very big, like staring eyes
Not only do we have big eyes, we are also very agile animals
You can run at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour without feeling tired for an hour.
Should we ask you human marathon runners to do some hand gestures?
We have more than 60 species of African antelopes. Let’s see how many you can take photos of.

I thought that the baobab trees I saw at the entrance of the park were very rare.
When I came in, I found that they were everywhere, precious but not rare.
Adult African ostriches can reach a height of 2.5 meters
Male ostriches can weigh up to 150 kilograms
A snake-like slender neck supports a small head
It can jump 2.5 meters into the air and sprint at a speed of more than 70 kilometers per hour.
Why are we the only birds in the world with only two toes?
Toes tend to shrink in order to facilitate running. It makes me cry just talking about it.

Hello everyone, I am Guinea Fowl
The strong ground-dwelling bird is me.
Don't look at my short and round wings. I can only escape by flying.

Our African elephants are one of the five giants in Africa
Because of your crazy poaching behavior
As a result our numbers are decreasing dramatically
We can identify the calls of more than 100 other companions
What should I do if I can’t identify it? Just ignore it
Our circle is not big, not as complicated as you humans
Our calls are low-frequency sound waves
You can't hear it either, unless it's recorded with ultrasound
Antelope and elephant, blue sky and white clouds
Calm and serene picture
Don’t look at the beautiful woman, look at the roof of the car
Find out how to watch animals
We drove to a dining spot surrounded by barbed wire.
A simple lunch to replenish energy
Sorry, your bananas were accidentally taken away by me.
We are active by nature and like to live in groups. Living in groups is very lively.
We have 18 species of long-tailed monkeys, all of them have little skin.
Because of territory and food, no matter how many fights there are between different ethnic groups, it’s just like playing.

We are looking for cute animals everywhere
And this young lady is taking a selfie
There is a river under the white clouds. We are going to take a bath.
Don't take photos secretly. Get angry.
Hippos and rhinos can be pierced by our fangs
Hey, friends, come and watch
It's about the humans in the car coming over again.
Come down if you can, haha
We are also members of the Big Five in Africa
Although we are strong, we are agile
We leopards are the ones who like to climb trees.
Put the prey in the tree and enjoy it slowly
We leopards are never reckless
Good at hiding in the dark and delivering a fatal blow to prey
I just like to see how you humans want to see me but don’t dare to get close.
Did you see, I'm on the tree in the picture below?

We got our name from the warts under our eyes.
These warts protect the eyes while digging in the soil for food
There are only two species: African warthog and Desert warthog
Feeds on grasses and tuber plants
Occasionally eat some meat and some rotten meat
We are indifferent to high temperatures and drought conditions
Even if I don’t drink water for several months, I’m still jumping around.

The Tarangire River is the heart and soul of the park
it gave birth to the plains of tarangire

We are discussing where to go.
The sunshine was just right but you interrupted it
What are you looking at? Have you never seen such a beautiful girl?
I'm sorry you don't know where this girl is from either.
You are talking about a beautiful pompon crest on your head
We are the crowned cranes who can sing and dance well.
In the morning and evening, my voice will feel uncomfortable if I don’t practice it a few times.
Before every dance, we always bow to each other gracefully
Then he spread his wings slightly, moved his feet slightly, kept bending and extending his long neck, and moved lightly
Many African countries regard me as their national bird
Maybe it’s because of my outstanding looks.
Girls who are afraid of snakes can hide behind me
Don’t look at us mongooses, they have long bodies, long tails and short limbs
It moves very quickly and is the natural enemy of snakes.
We are not afraid of venom and mainly eat snakes
Also hunts frogs, fish, birds, rats, insects and other small mammals

You call me wildebeest or wildebeest
Cow head, horse face, sheep whiskers
The Great Migration from East Africa You Want
We are the main force
You can see a lot when you go to Ngor Ngor Park tomorrow
See you again
my big eyes
Will it make you fall into a trap?
impala (also called impala) says
I like this photo very much
The photographer actually gave me the feeling of a unicorn beast
In fact, it’s a perfect angle with the two corners overlapping.
I am a small person, so I want to ask you if you are cute or not.
Likes to hide in bushes to avoid natural enemies
You call me Quanling, we are a monogamous couple
Because of love, when the one you love dies
The other party will soon follow it
African partridge, please understand, I am timid and afraid of people
Unfortunately, it has become an endangered animal
You are very lucky to see me on the grassland.

The weather is a bit hot
Better to cool off under the baobab tree
We are the most famous among the 9 species
You like to call us reticulated giraffes.
You see, our white mesh spreads all the way to the feet
Are your tattoos weak?
Let me tell you quietly: We have four stomachs

There are five giants in Africa: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros and leopard. Among them, the elephant and leopard have already appeared. The next stop is Ngorongoro Crater National Park. .

Ngorongoro National Park
As shown in the picture below , when you look down at the park, you don't feel how big it is at all. After going down, you realize how vast it is. I drove around for a whole day and didn't even have to walk back The first one.
The park is located in the northern part of Tanzania, with an altitude of 2286 meters. It is the largest and most complete volcanic crater in the world.
The natural cliff extending up to 600 meters from the bottom of the crater formed a circular place with a radius of about 260 square kilometers, forming as many as 20,000 bullsThe home of wild animals , including more than 100 species of birds that are not found in the Serengeti , and countless pink fires Flamingos cover the entire lagoon.

When going to see animals in Africa, many people prefer the Serengeti because it is so famous and the annual great migration of animals makes people yearn for it. In fact, whether you can see it depends on your luck.
To see animals on weekdays, the Ngorongoro Crater National Park in Tanzania, which has been rated as a World Natural and Cultural Heritage, is also an excellent place. There are fewer people but more animals. You can basically gather all AfricaThe Five Hegemons.
We followed the winding dirt road winding down to the crater and met a group of Maasai people.
The only people who can currently live in this protected area are the Maasai people, who live on the edge of the crater.
The Maasai are nomadic people who measure their wealth by the number of cattle and rarely hunt wild animals.
At first, the Maasai people's coming-of-age ceremony was very powerful. One person had to kill a lion. Now, in order to protect the animals, it is changed to cattle herding.
We are the ones who can see the farthest and jump the highest
InternationalNing is so awesome that he can jump higher than us.Why?
Because we have also started to get involved in tourism and know how to please tourists.
We are used to using shrubs to form a large garden-shaped fence
The mud huts inside are our home
Many handmade trinkets made by the Maasai people
They are all gadgets made from local materials.
I heard you didn't get much success in Tarangire?
Come to us, we will welcome you in droves
The zebra herd also welcomes you.
Strong teeth and powerful digestive system
No problem dealing with rough grass stems
We bring our own tattoos and they are never the same
A song should play here
Of course, the welcoming team cannot be without the huge herd of wildebeest.
We like to eat the grass stems left behind after zebras have eaten them
Because our intestines and stomach are relatively delicate
know we're huge
But did you know we can live to be 70?
Know that we are social animals
But did you know that we are headed by women?
We are hyenas, except for hunting our own food
He often steals prey from other friends
So you say we are "opportunists"
When two members of the opposite sex are together, the male always lets the female go in front
If there is only one piece of meat, the male will leave it to the female
I'm going away sad, because I heard it with my own ears
The photographer said I was too ugly and was unwilling to take two more photos of me

You see, even if there are dark clouds and heavy rain coming,
There is also a ray of sunshine shining on us
The lion as king of the prairie
Naturally we have our own pride
Hyenas often harass us
Do you know why we just kill it but not eat it?
Because hyenas like to eat carrion and we dislike it.
We have plenty of delicious herbivore meat to enjoy
We are the heaviestcats
It is also the only feline in the world that is both male and female
You see, our males have very long manes, which are easy to identify.
Once upon a time, a handsome boy in our family met a peacock girl
Go up and set it up almost say
Wouldn't your feathers be more beautiful if they were on your neck like mine?
Peacock said, no, have you ever seen anyone use a skirt as a scarf?
Hey, I was laughed at by Peacock for not wearing pants.
We are your favorite flamingos
Let me tell you a little secret, we are different when we forage
When looking for food, dip your head downwards, turn your mouth upside down, and suck the food into your mouth.
Drain excess water and debris before swallowing
We built high mounds of mud in the water to make our nests
Because astaxanthin is obtained from eating algae, small fish, shrimp, etc.
It makes the originally white feathers shine bright red
Let me tell you quietly: whose red color is brighter
The more attractive you are to the opposite sex
Although he looks ugly and lives a long time, he is useless
That’s awesome, you’ve even discovered it even if it’s hidden deep in the grassland.
It is said that the last white rhino of our species is gone.
Our horns can fetch $65,000 per kilogram on the black market
I just want to ask if your conscience hurts?
Even though we are bulky, we can still reach 45 kilometers per hour when we are aggressive.
It's not a problem to turn around at high speed. You are the nimble fat guy you often call me.
It’s raining and I’m in a bad mood. I don’t want to show my head to you.
Anyway, you also know that we hippos spend almost all of their time in the water during the day.
It will be fine if you sneak at the bottom of the river for 10 minutes
Water is good , it can prevent insect bites and prevent dehydration
Why is it called the Yellow-billed White Crane?
You can tell by looking at the color of our mouths
Long mouth, long neck and long legs are our characteristics
I'm coming gently
Suddenly it burst out and pecked into the water with its long beak.
Delicious food is here
Most of ourblack storks are migratory birds
Do you have a beautiful body and agile movements?
The mouth and feet are red and feed on fish
Let me ask you: Am I beautiful?
No, I'm not talking about the appearance but the name.

Wedge-tailed starling

Four master builders of our animal kingdom

It may surprise you, they are pufferfish, termites, and beavers
Another one is of course us as representatives of birds - the weaver bird
We like to live in groups, build nests and forage together
Come, let me show you our community
Well, it is well deserved for our African buffalo to appear in the finale.
After all, we are also one of the five hegemons in Africa.
We are so big that our deadly weapons are horns
Don't think we are easy to bully
In fact, if you lose your temper,
Hard angles, hooks, and back kicks
Even lions and leopards are afraid
Look, look, there are densely packed groups of animals, wildebeest, zebra, wild boar and antelope...
Before going there, I always thought that I would often see fierce fighting and predatory scenes in the animal kingdom, but it turned out that the scenes of peaceful coexistence were the most common and more realistic.
Don't think that we fight every day
Actually, you humans won’t bother me.
We get along fine most of the time
We set out on our way home with unfinished business
Look, this is Safari’s modified car
Later, we also went to Lake Manyara National Park in the East African Rift Valley. Compared with Tarangire and Ngor Ngor, the experience was still much worse. We will no longer recommend it for future trips.
Sometimes the biggest meaning of taking a path is not to take that path again . This may be the meaning of line exploration.
After all, everyone’s time and energy are limited, and we must present cost-effective routes to live up to everyone’s love.
Although Africa is a paradise for wild animals, according to incomplete statistics, in Africa, due to the human poaching industry, five lions and four elephants are lost every day, and one is lost every seven hours rhino.
In order to protect African wildlife, many official and non-governmental organizations are taking action, especially In terms of elephants, big cats and rhinos.
If we are unable to personally participate in protection, then we only need to remember and abide by one point: No buying and selling, no harm!
ps: The pictures without watermarks in the article are from Master Xu and Lemon, who are in the same industry. Thanks.
Thanks again to Hunan Xiangye Travel and Shanghai Qiaoge Expedition for the opportunity.
