Taking Tianfu Square as the starting point, the total distance is 210 kilometers. The bus line is not as convenient as the line to Emeishan. It is recommended to drive by yourself.

It takes about 2 hours by car to Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway and Yakang Expressway (toll 64 yuan)
After getting off the expressway, it takes about 1.5 hours to drive on Yazhao Road, the whole journey takes 3.5 hours.
Tips:
Generally speaking, both new and experienced drivers can do the job, but there are many curves after getting off the expressway. There are a few sections of the road between getting off the expressway and the Zhougongshan Tunnel that are under maintenance, but it does not affect normal operation. Passage, need to proceed slowly and with caution.

1. Shanxia B&B
Passing through a narrow, dark and uneven but not long traffic tunnel on the left bank of the dam, you will arrive at the Yanu Lake Ring Road. There will be a variety of B&Bs on the roadside. If you plan to stay at the foot of the mountain, you want to enjoy Yanu Lake. Those with snowy scenery can consider staying in a lakeside B&B, but it is recommended to choose a B&B that is closer to the mountain gate and has better heating. The price is friendly, ranging from 150-400.
This time we went to Yanu Lake and the houses and trees were covered with snow. The scenery along the way was particularly beautiful. Unfortunately, we were in such a hurry that we didn’t stop the car to take pictures. We drove from the tunnel to the mountain gate for about 20 minutes, and kept walking through the snowy scenery. It didn't feel far.
2. Yamashita Hotel
The Wawu Mountain Resort Hotel at the foot of the mountain should be the accommodation with the best conditions in the scenic area. It is located at the entrance of the mountain. After parking and checking in, you can walk to the ticket gate. The heating in the hotel is sufficient, and the price of 1000+ is also sufficient. The hot spring in the hotel is only available to tourists staying in the hotel.
3. Hotel on the mountain
There is only the only hotel on the mountain - Xiang'er Villa . The contact numbers found online are all empty. You can book accommodation at Xiang'er Villa through Wawushanju Resort Hotel. .
Xiang'er Villa has ordinary rooms and cabins. Because of water and toilet considerations, we booked a cabin with two bedrooms, one living room and two bathrooms. The price is 2,300. Each room has three beds and each room has an electric heater. tablets and electric blankets. Because the outdoor temperature was more than ten degrees below zero, the water pipes in the toilets were frozen. The staff in the toilets prepared buckets of water for flushing the toilets. There are three heaters in each room for drinking water. Kettle, additional kettle and mineral water (frozen into ice). In addition, there is a piece of organic hemp in the small hall at the entrance. The sparrow god should not be afraid of the cold.
Because we live in the mountains this time, let me introduce more about the accommodation in Xiang'er Villa. I stayed at Xiang'er Villa with my friends ten years ago. The only heating facility in the room was an electric blanket. To wash and use the toilet, water had to be passed through the outdoors at more than ten degrees below zero to the water room and public toilet. It was as cold as a popsicle. So this time we booked the cabin at the back. When booking, the front desk repeatedly emphasized to us that the room was also very cold and not suitable for bringing children, because the expectations were very low. Although it cannot be compared with the temperature of the Waya Mountain Residence at the foot of the mountain, every There are electric radiators and electric blankets in the room . The indoor temperature is not comfortable but barely acceptable. (If the children are too young, it is still not recommended. Reference: The youngest friend in this trip is 3 years old+)
We carried two small portable heaters just in case, but the voltage in the room couldn't bear it and kept tripping. We only used one to dry the children's gloves and socks during the day, but it was useless at night because I was afraid it would be unsafe. If it's too much trouble, you can just use the electric radiator in the room to dry your clothes and hats. (Tips: Do not bake the rubber surfaces of gloves, windproof pants and other items directly on them. Don’t ask me how I know this...)

There are snack bars on the mountain, and there are also restaurants in the hotel where you can order meals. The approximate price of ordering is 38 yuan for vegetarian dishes, 68 yuan for meat dishes, and 88 yuan for meat dishes.
If you think it is expensive, you can bring instant noodles and instant rice yourself. If you bring a small electric cooker, you can bring some easy-to-cook foods such as noodles, braised pork and shrimp for the children.
The hotel provides breakfast, which is richer than expected, including eggs, milk, porridge and side dishes.
3. Others
There are empty buckets in the hotel and wash basins in the toilets, but there is no water in the water pipes. It is recommended to bring some disposable plastic bags, which is hygienic and convenient.
4. Toys
Be sure to prepare a sled, snow shovel, etc. for the children. In addition to playing, they can also pull things.

Day 1 Chengdu-Wawushan Stay at the foot of the mountain (Wawushanju Hotel or other B&B)
The next day, go up the mountain early in the morning and go down before 6 p.m. (the radio will keep playing to remind you to arrange your time. If you are late, you will not be able to go down the mountain)
Itinerary 2
Day 1 Chengdu-Wawu Mountain Climb to Suxianger Villa
Get up early the next morning and continue to play in the snow and see Lanxi Falls (about 1km away from Xiang'er Mountain Villa on the rolling mountain road). In the afternoon, the downhill schedule is tight. If you move quickly, you can also take a hot spring in Zhougong Mountain on the way (about 1 hour's drive from Wawu Mountain). We have 2 p.m. I clicked down the mountain and didn't make it in time, but I had a lot of fun in the snow.
Tips:
1. There are two sections of ropeway going up the mountain. The round trip and ticket are included in the package for 286 yuan/adult. Each platform has some small discounts. But note that this ticket is for a day trip. If you are staying at Xiang'er Mountain Villa and need to go down the mountain the next day, it is best to ask the hotel to help you buy it. The price is 260 yuan.
2. The cableway to Xiang'er Mountain Villa is a sightseeing road that was only built last year. It is about 3km. If you want to take your time and play sledding, you can walk. If you don't want to walk or are in a hurry to go down the mountain, you can take the sightseeing car directly to .
3. There is a small simple ski resort behind the Xiang'er Mountain Villa cabin. Although the facilities are not as good as the big ski resorts, the snow is definitely the softest.
4. It is recommended that friends who have high accommodation requirements choose to live at the foot of the mountain, but they have tight play time and need to arrange their itinerary in advance. Friends who live in the mountains try to lower their expectations for warmth!
