My friend Zhang Luo held a blueberry picking activity over the weekend, and the location was in Jingyu County.

The preparation needs no description and we drove in around noon. The navigation location indicated that this is the Baishan Lake Scenic Area Management Office. When we got there, we saw that it was actually at the entrance of the scenic area, inside a small village.

First advertise the base.

I thought the base was just a picking garden, but it seems to be much taller and more technical.

The event will definitely include a picnic. I would like to thank the host for his careful preparation and the chef he hired, who has a very famous name and is the inheritor of cultural heritage.

It's absolutely original and only uses firewood.

As a poor cook like me, I couldn't help, so I had to go and see what the blueberries looked like in the field.

I must have eaten blueberries, but my other knowledge is basically zero. Let’s get an intuitive impression first.

As we walked into the field, we saw blueberry fruits.

A close-up

Blueberry seedlings are not high, below a person's chest, and most are shorter, making them easy to pick.

I seriously want to create a fruity effect

We didn't go far, and all we could see were these few rows, hidden in a small mountain village.

After the big pot of mutton was cooked, the house was full of guests and everyone was enjoying themselves!

Since I came to the blueberry base, and it is a very professional science and technology base, I naturally couldn't give up the good opportunity to learn about blueberries.

In my mind, this kind of fruit did not exist when I was a child. Now I have found the origin. Blueberries are indeed a variety introduced from the United States around 2000. The base I visited belongs to an agricultural university professor, and several of their professors followed them. The mentor completed the introduction, development, planting and marketization of this fruit. Blueberries were actually sold on the market in 2003. The planting area has now been extended from east to west to south. This process was very eye-opening for us, and we couldn’t help but sigh that every other field is like a mountain. It’s true that there is a champion in every field. There is also great potential in the agricultural field. Professor Wu calls himself a farmer, but such a farmer is not ordinary.

Naturally, you have to pick it yourself when you come to the base.

Brochures on the ground

I feel that the yield of blueberries is very high (maybe I encountered an expert planting method), and there are so many fruits on one plant that we jokingly say that one sheep's hair is enough.

Good harvest. The blueberries here are huge.

The base is in a village, and the buildings in the village can be seen on the opposite side. The professor rents the land and hires his own people to plant it.

Walking deep into the garden, you are actually on the edge of a cliff. The scenery of the river valley below is beautiful, and it feels a bit like a paradise.

These signs on the ground indicate that this base is extraordinary and very different from ordinary rural areas.

Living here really feels like a hermit.

At the end of the day's activities, we stayed in Jingyu County, 18 kilometers away from the base, and got up early to take photos of Jingyu County.

This street is Jingyu Street, which runs through the county from east to west.

In the morning, the hotel also caught up with two wedding couples. One of them was a coincidence. The groom had a female name and the bride had a male name. Because of concerns about copyright infringement, the photos were not posted!

Originally, I could go to the base cliff to watch the sunrise if I got up early, but having to get up after 3 a.m. really doesn’t fit in with my biological clock. Fortunately, many of the people traveling with me have excellent habits. Here are the photos they took.

Companions who get up early to watch the sunrise

A day later, the base owner sent another message about the cliff under heavy fog in the early morning.

It really feels like a fairyland.
