Fangshan is not a mountain. It is a big rock. It is a huge rock that protrudes very abruptly from the horizon of the surrounding ridges, 100 meters higher than other places.
Fangshan Scenic Area and Fangshan Scenic Area are not far apart from each other by visual inspection, 500 meters apart, but they belong to two places. Fangshan Scenic Area is not included in Fangshan Scenic Area. The two confront each other in the north and south, and echo each other from a distance.
After visiting Fangshan Scenic Area to see azaleas, the only sequelae is: you will lose interest in going to other places to see azaleas... because there are not only many azaleas in Fangshan Scenic Area...but they are also extremely lush and beautiful.
Our hiking route today: Wenling Fangshan~Yangjiaodong~Fangshan Scenic Area traverses 12 kilometers, starting from a place called Nanshan Village.

Fangshan is located in the northwest of Wenling and is one of the eight scenic spots in Yandang Mountain. Fangshan is a majestic mountain with overlapping stone walls. The surrounding stone walls are more than 100 meters tall. The top of the mountain is as straight as a stone and shaped like a square box, hence its name. There are Yangjiao Peak, Yangjiao Cave and Yunxiao Temple on the mountain.
Fangshan Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Wenling. It is a national 4A scenic spot. Its main attractions are Fangyan Academy, Magpie Bridge, Shangxiatian Lake, Liangyi Pavilion, and Sun and Moon Tonghui Pavilion.
