Qihang Plaza

Not far from the bridge is Qihang Square, where the lighthouse is located at the ferry. This is a must-visit attraction for tourists visiting Nan'ao Island. Haisi Plaza

The Maritime Silk Road Cultural Plaza is the main project of Jin'ao Bay in the Nan'ao Island Blue Bay Project. Xiangyun Plaza

Xiangyun Square is a square on Haibin Road, Houzhai Town, Nan'ao Island. It has a beach underneath and is close to the seaside.

The four pillars painted with auspicious cloud patterns are particularly brilliant against the street lights, becoming a beautiful scenery in the night scene. It also exists as an iconic attraction on Nan'ao Island.

Zhan Nan Pavilion

Zhannan Pavilion is backed by green mountains and faces the mirror-like sea. Boats are passing by, ripples are rippling, and gulls are flying. Go up to the second floor of the pavilion and overlook the windmills on the mountain and Yunan Bay. To the south is the endless ocean.

Sea Dream Viewing Corridor

Sea Dream Viewing Corridor is an excellent viewing spot in Qing'ao Bay. It is located next to Huandao Road, less than 500 meters south of Qing'ao Bay Peninsula Holiday, and connected to the southernmost end of Qing'ao Bay Beach.

Qing'ao Bay

It is one of the two A-level bathing beaches in Guangdong Province.

The bottom of the bay is flat and wide, with a small river flowing into it. There is a 0.35 square kilometer casuarina windbreak forest belt planted on the beach at the top of the bay. Huanghuashan National Forest Park

Huanghuashan National Forest Park is located in the Western Peninsula of Nan'ao, Shantou City, Guangdong Province. In 1992, the Ministry of Forestry approved the original Huanghuashan Forest Farm as the "Island National Forest Park", covering an area of 20,600 acres, with the Tropic of Cancer passing through the middle.

The main feature is the wild scenery of mountains and forests. Dajianshan is known as the highest peak in Shantou, with an altitude of 587.5 meters. It is the only island national forest park in the country. Land area: 13.7 square kilometers, greening rate 90%, green coverage rate 90%.

Back Garden Village

Back Garden is a characteristic tourist ecological village in Guangdong Province. It is located in the west of Shennao Town and on the north side of Guolao Mountain. It is nearly 400 meters above sea level and consists of four natural villages. The terrain here is majestic and the mountains are green. It is a "natural oxygen bar" given by nature. General Military Mansion

Since Nan'ao Island is located on the southeastern coast, between eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian, it is an important military location. The feudal rulers were afraid of having troops here to respect themselves, so the small island was jointly managed by Guangdong and Fujian. In the middle, Xiongzhen Pass serves as the dividing line.

Sea bans were very strict during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The more severe the imperial restrictions, the more rampant private smuggling activities became. Coupled with the intrusion of Japanese pirates outside and pirates entrenched inside, more and more soldiers were stationed by the imperial court, and the standards of Nan'ao were gradually upgraded, eventually becoming an important military base for controlling Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan.

It consists of the main landscapes such as Songjing, Jingting, and Prince Tower ruins, which are famous at home and abroad. According to records, in May of the first year of Jingyan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1276), due to the invasion of Yuan troops, Lu Xiufu, the minister of the Ministry of Rites, and Zhang Shizhong, the general of the Song Dynasty, protected the young emperor of the Song Dynasty in retreating through Nan'ao and stationed in Qian'ao Village. They dug up treasures for the emperor, ministers and generals. There are three Song wells called "Longjing", "Tiger well" and "Horse well" for drinking by soldiers and horses.

Treasure Island is located in Tia'ao Bay, Shen'ao Town. The entire scenic spot is connected by a nine-curved bridge, with many cliff carvings of celebrities and stone sculptures guarding gold and silver treasures erected.

Xiongzhenguan

Xiongzhen Pass is located on the ridge at the junction of Yun'ao and Shen'ao. It was built in the 13th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. It was the ancient pass hub of the two ancient towns of Yun'ao and Shen'ao.

According to the "Nan'ao Chronicles" of the Qing Dynasty: "Qi Jiguang broke the Wu Ping Road because of this", which illustrates the historical significance of building a pass here and its important role in guarding Nan'ao and consolidating coastal defense. It is known as one of the famous passes in China and has always been a A couplet is engraved on the gate of Xiongzhen Pass, which is relied upon by famous people and longed for by tourists: Xiongzhen Pass spans the ridges of the north and south, and the two Aoguan Passes of Zhenyun Shen are photographed. Former Site of Changshanwei Fort

Changshanwei Fort was built in the 56th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1717). It is a pair of "sister forts" with Dalaiwu Fort in Chenghai. They face each other and jointly guard the safety of Changshanwei Yang. Climbing the city and looking into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of Laiwu Mountain on the other side and Fengyu Island in the northwest sea.

The city corridor is rectangular, 60 meters long, 20 meters wide, 6 meters high, and the wall is 2 meters thick. The existing city gate is constructed of stone strips about 3 meters high and 2 meters wide.

There are steps against the south and north walls to climb up the city, and there is a tall platform to the west for placing cannons. Climbing the city and looking into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of Laiwu Mountain on the other side and Fengyu Island in the northwest sea.

Soldiers Cemetery

Nan'ao is the island county closest to Taiwan in Guangdong. It has historically been an important coastal defense military town. In addition to guarding the main island, the officers and soldiers guarding Nan'ao are also responsible for military affairs in the coastal areas of eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian and in Penghu and Tamsui, Taiwan. Most of these officers and soldiers who were responsible for the glorious mission of defending the motherland were buried on the spot after being killed in battle or in the line of duty, and their ashes were moved back to South Australia a few years later.

In 1993, Nan'ao County allocated special funds to move the scattered tombs of deceased soldiers and build a cemetery together. The renovated cemetery covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters. 199 officers and soldiers of the Qing Dynasty who died in the garrison are buried under the three-dimensional characters "Loyal Soul". The strokes of the characters are inlaid with tablets with the names of the deceased.

Ancient City Park

Ancient City Park is located on the south side of Shen'ao Ancient Town in the northeastern part of Nan'ao Island. It was the seat of ancient Nan'ao City, an important coastal defense town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and an important link on the Maritime Silk Road. The ancient city wall is the only Ming Dynasty city wall that remains in Nan'ao City, recording Nan'ao's important historical value in coastal defense.

Nanshan Temple

Nanshan Temple is located in the south of the ancient city, in the "Duli Chaoyang", with Jinshan Mountain behind it and facing Meihua Village. It has towering ancient trees, gurgling pit springs, sweet well water, deep and elegant.

With a construction area of more than 1,000 square meters, the ancient temple is located from the northeast to the southwest, and only the three words "Nanshan Temple" are deeply and elegantly carved on the stone on the ancient door plaque. The newly built Dashan Gate Tower faces south and faces north. It is about 9 meters high and 10 meters wide. It is magnificent and magnificent. There is a parking lot inside the gate and a three-story reception building (each floor is about 200 square meters).

Pingshan Rock in Xitianling, Shen'ao Town, formerly known as Binshan Rock, was founded in the early Qing Dynasty on September 24, 1999 and was listed as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in the county. It is famous for its unique open-air stone Guanyin Colossus, Golden Needle Pagoda, Poetry The stele gallery (a collection of poems by celebrities), Binshan Pavilion, and the exceptionally beautiful landscape are fascinating.

Pingshan Rock is not only an ancient and solemn Shamen, but also an enchanting landscape and a treasure house of poetry and ink.

These two famous temples are majestic and have different scenery. Together with the dozen or so unique and solemn ancient temples in Shen'ao Town, they form a tourist attraction for worshiping Buddha in eastern Guangdong. "Tiannan Dharma Milk" is very large and majestic. There is a spring on it called "Wisdom Spring". It is said that people who drink from the Wisdom Spring will become wise.

Shitan Temple

The famous temple caves on the bank of Qian'ao Bay are a magnificent natural masterpiece integrating sea, mountains, rocks and springs, and are a fascinating tourist attraction.

Shitan Temple is located on the hill next to the Longchang Coastal Cement Road in the western half of the island. It is commonly known as "Qian'ao Temple". Shitan Temple has a winding path to the north, stacked stone barriers, and ancient banyan trees. The scenery is unique.

Sitting under the ancient banyan tree in front of the temple, the beautiful scenery of Qian'ao Bay appears in front of you. Looking far into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of the sea and sky.

Dieshiyan, a famous religious temple known as "Tiannan Dharma Breast", is located in the valley surrounded by peaks on the west side of Xiongzhenguan on the ridge at the junction of Yun and Shen'ao on the east peninsula of Nan'ao Island.

Shen'ao City God's Temple

The Nan'ao City God's Temple is located in Shenn'ao Town, Nan'ao County, a few hundred meters behind the Fujian and Guangdong General Military Mansion. The City God's Temple was built in the fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty and is a Sanjin building.

The Confucius Temple and the City God Temple are next to each other, with the same entrance and exit. The original Confucius Temple collapsed during the earthquake in South Australia. It is said that the Confucius Temple was very large and is now Shen'ao Middle School. It was only more than ten years ago that the people of South Australia worshiped Confucius again. Yungai Temple

Yungai Temple is located on the mountainside on the east side of Liyuan Village, Yun'ao Town. "Qingyun in the Ancient Temple" is one of the eight scenic spots in South Australia. There is a back gate tower (opposite to the front gate tower), and the road leads to the mountains. There is a world like no other.
