To be honest, I admire people who are still preparing to open stores during the epidemic.

Recently, I was helping a few guys born in the 90s to plan a themed event for a local social bar. Looking at the appearance of this store, my head hurts. It’s full of everything, such strange slogans, gaudy colors, and decorations. It’s a mess. It really looks like a garbage dump.

Let me express my emotion again. Those who dare to open a store these days are all warriors. The cost of rent, decoration, water and electricity, and various labor and materials of the store will make it really difficult to open a store during the epidemic. I really don’t dare to think about it…

This store is near my home. It was supposed to open in mid-October as expected. However, due to the epidemic, the store went silent. The bosses said they would have a soft opening around November 8th.

This pub mainly focuses on socializing for young people in the same city. To be honest, I am too interested in this. Since I came back, my friends have basically come from: my former colleagues, my sister... and then they disappeared. I really want to meet some new friends! Moreover, the Chinese New Year is coming soon, and my friends who returned home on the first day of the new year will also have a place to play together!

When my mother mentioned the pub, her first reaction was that it was not a place for serious people to go. I totally understand her point of view, but I still have a little say in the pub. In my sophomore year, in order to make a documentary, my roommate and I traveled around Jinan and photographed folk singers in three taverns. It was our first official filming. They all sang so beautifully. It was the first time I discovered that the taverns were okay. So fun. Later, I bought Da Bing’s book, and after reading the utopian stories described in his book, I longed to sit in Da Bing’s hut. (To be honest, Teacher Da Bing’s chicken soup is a bit thick)

(I was so young at the time, only 19 years old)

I went to the Midi Music Festival with a group of friends last year and watched Cui Jian, Escape Plan, Admiration, Tang Dynasty, and Second-hand Rose. In the tent area at night, everyone stayed up all night singing and setting off fireworks. Friends of different ages gathered from all over the country. It feels so good to chat together! After staying up until early in the morning to watch the sunrise, everyone returned to their tents to rest. They were really young and could endure it.

Now, there is this place at my doorstep, and there is so much to play. If you have any suggestions on what to play and how to play, you can send me a private message! If your opinion is accepted, I can buy you a drink for free after that hahaha.

In short, I haven’t found the answer to what it’s like to open a social pub in Linfen, but everyone has a strong firepower. If you can create something, you can change something. We have reached the age where we can make some changes! Looking forward to the next story.
