What we look forward to most is the annual team building every year.
I originally thought that this year’s team building would be canceled due to the epidemic. Fortunately, the company sympathized with our difficulty in working overtime, so it was still arranged as the end of the year was approaching.
Domestic travel does not need to be prepared too far in advance. Last week, we decided on the route for the day, and the travel agency was able to buy air tickets and book hotels, and we can hit the road quickly next week.
There are three routes to choose from this year: Lijiang in Yunnan, Dunhuang in Qinghai, and Sanya in Hainan. I have been to Dunhuang twice, but I was not looking forward to the foreseeable Ge Youli series in Sanya, so I chose Lijiang, which I have never been to.
I have always thought that Kunming is the city of spring, so the weather in Yunnan as a whole will be similar to that of Guangdong. However, the altitude of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the latitude of Lijiang close to Sichuan obviously undermined my understanding: cotton-padded jackets are a must.
Despite the acclimatization and the astonishing temperature difference between day and night in the previous two days, this trip to natural scenery was not bad. During this trip, we visited Lijiang Old Town, Lugu Lake, Shangri-La and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Lijiang
Since several target attractions radiate out along Lijiang, I spend most of my time living in Lijiang Ancient Town, which serves as a transit station from where I can go to the other three attractions. I travel every night, so in the limited time, I can tour the ancient city.
Lijiang at night is very imaginative: water flows through every alley, and dazzling flowers are planted on both sides of every stream, wrapped with neon lights of different colors. In Yunnan's spring-like climate all year round, the lights and shadows interweave. , too beautiful to behold.
Friends who have been here before say that the ancient city is much bigger now than it was ten years ago, but it is also more commercialized. To give you the simplest example: here, you can eat naan from the northwest. , Sichuan cuisine, Northeast grilled cold noodles, Shaanxi cold noodles, Chongqing hot and sour noodles, seafood from the southeast coast, it is difficult to come across Yunnan restaurants.
After searching for a long time, I still couldn’t find those famous insect snacks - of course, I didn’t really want to eat them, I just wanted to see them and feast my eyes after a friend recommended them, but in the end I didn’t see them.
lugu lake
Located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan, the lake belongs to Sichuan and Yunnan respectively, so it caused a phenomenon: we visited the Yunnan side and had dinner on the Sichuan side. In fact, the distance is not too far apart.
When I first arrived at the Lugu Lake Observation Deck , I actually had high reflexes. and a girl in the car felt dizzy and dizzy. However, they recovered during the subsequent photo session, so it was a girl who took the photo. A good medicine?
Looking down at the entire Lugu Lake from top to bottom is also a rare experience. But because of the bad weather, the photos we took on the observation deck were not particularly stunning and we could only rely on powerful post-processing technology.
After getting off the observation deck, we played by the lake first and floated with everyone. I was almost perfect. For a moment, I felt like I was back when I was a child, but I couldn't do three floats... The lake is clear. When you hit the bottom, you can even clearly see stones and water plants on the edge of the lake, and the famous water-based poplars are floating on the water.
After a short distance, you can reach the "Legg Peninsula". Viewed from the air, it looks like a crocodile, with a panoramic view of the lakes and mountains. There is only a small ditch separating the shore from the Lige Peninsula. There are many cafes and B&Bs on the peninsula. The prices are not expensive after checking. Choose a cafe, have a cup of Yunnan Xiaoli, and play a few games of "Glory of the King" 》, the whole afternoon was so unpleasant.
In Lugu Lake, there is another tourist route that you must go to, that is, take a pig trough boat to the island in the middle of the lake. There is a Lama temple on the island: Liwubi Temple . After passing the prayer wheel, you can make a wish. The pavilion is filled with visitors’ wishing cards for 2020. Everyone’s simplest wish is that their families will be healthy and prosperous this year.
I heard that there are many gourmet restaurants by the lake. The tour guide took us to " Fish Flavor ". Although it is an Internet celebrity restaurant, every dish is recommended with five stars. I even opened the Dianping review. And take photos and comment, so that no one misses this delicacy when coming to Lugu Lake. After all, it is not easy for a restaurant to make a special dish, but the "fish flavor" is praiseworthy in every dish, which is very rare.
If you are traveling on your own, it is recommended to stay in a B&B directly on the shore. We checked that the prices are not expensive, and you are right next to the lake. You can also watch the moon and stars by the lake at night, which is much more unique than going to a hotel.
Shangri-La
There are two pure lands in my heart, one is Lhasa and the other is Shangri-La. I heard that the scenery there is unique, with a clear blue sky and a group of pilgrims.
It takes a few hours to go to Shangri-La from the ancient city of Lijiang, passing by Haba Snow Mountain . It is recommended to stop and go to the observation deck to admire the autumn forest color, a variety of plants that vary depending on the altitude, green and yellow intertwined. A mobile phone cannot capture one ten thousandth of this beauty.
| Pudacuo
The important attraction in Shangri-La is Pudacuo, which is also the only 5A-level attraction in Yunnan. A friend of mine has been to Yunnan before and has traveled to many places, but the real reason that prompted her to come here for the second time is that she was in The weather was not very good when we visited Pudacuo, which left us with some regrets.
Although the transportation to Pudacuo is not very convenient, and all you see along the way are road construction workers and flying dust, the scenery at the end is so worth the journey. At noon, the sun finally peeked out from the clouds. The sky was blue and the lake was sparkling. No matter how long you took the time-lapse photography, it would still be successful. Slowly walk along the plank road by the lake, watch the sun shine through the virgin forest, occasionally encounter small squirrels, and quickly climb up the spruce tree dozens of meters high after the interaction... These experiences are enough to make the trip worthwhile for urbanites. .
However, I think the most beautiful thing about Pudacuo is not the official Shudu Lake, but the way we took the bus from the entrance to the lake. Yaks and horses forage freely and lazily in the pastures, and herdsmen’s wooden houses are quietly located beside unknown creeks. Isn’t this the ideal kingdom for many people? (I'm lazy and haven't cut out the video yet. I hope I can finish it and issue a video account before the Spring Festival)
| Dukezong
In addition to Pudacuo, another place worth visiting in Shangri-La is Dukezong, where there is the world's largest prayer wheel that can only be turned by many people. Everyone makes wishes while turning, and together they can achieve success. Experience the piety of believers. Because it is on a hill, there will be some high altitude when you climb up, but you can see the whole ancient town.
There is a museum at the foot of the mountain that is free and open to tourists. It is mainly to commemorate that when the Red Army passed by this place during the Long March (Shangri-La was still called Zhongdian at that time), the residents here warmly welcomed the Red Army, and many Tibetan young people joined them. Join the Communist Party and defend our hometown together.
I have never been to Jinggangshan or Yan'an, and I have rarely been exposed to the Red Museum. Today, I use this opportunity to understand the close connection between the people and the Communist Party members at that time. We all fought together for the New China to save the nation, and every nation made countless sacrifices.
In the last section before going out, tourists have to experience the scenery of grassland and snow-capped mountains indoors. The north wind blows in their ears, simulating the scene when the Red Army crossed the snow-capped mountains. Finally, they realized how difficult the Long March was, and they understood that "the Red Army is not afraid of the difficulties of the expedition." , the true meaning of "Thousands of rivers and mountains are just waiting for leisure".
The best place to eat in Shangri-La is to go to Tibetan family . That night we had one pot each, drank butter tea, watched the Tibetan performances, interacted and joked with each other, and cheered and danced together around the bonfire in the yard after dinner, which was so fun.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
I didn’t have a good experience visiting the scenic spots in the morning during this trip, because the sun doesn’t come out until about 11 o’clock, and natural scenery often needs to be photographed after the sun comes out to be beautiful.
After climbing the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain via the cableway, everyone went to the highest point to check in for climbing to the top. However, I got separated from everyone on the way. I originally decided to climb up to the top, but the fog became increasingly thicker and thicker. It started to snow heavily again, and my feet kept slipping, so I climbed down halfway. Here are the photos shared by my colleagues:
Strongly recommended by Douban friend Holmes, I paid special attention to Blue Moon Lake at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. When I first got on the small sightseeing bus in the scenic area, I didn't think much of it. I slowly approached the lake and was amazed by the blue water. I couldn't help but give him a big thumbs up.
Taking photos with the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as the background, it felt like I was right in front of the mountain. Walking from the upper reaches to the lower reaches, I saw no shortcomings. On the way, I met no less than 10 couples taking wedding photos. One of my companions had already taken wedding photos. My colleagues were so excited that they wanted to bring their girlfriend here to take wedding photos again.
In the afternoon, I watched "Impression of Lijiang" directed by Zhang Yimou. The performers were all local ethnic minority compatriots. Unfortunately, it was too original, so I didn't understand it very well... Of course, they used the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as the background. , riding horses and running above the stage, completely immersed in the majestic natural scenery, allowing the audience to feel the greatness of nature and the insignificance of human beings.
Many colleagues chose to stay at Snow Mountain Hotel in the evening. You can see the snow mountain from the balcony, and you can see the starry sky at night. The Milky Way is clear and starry.
It's about half an hour's drive from downtown Lijiang. If you don't want to stay at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, you can stay in a hotel back in Lijiang.
Regarding Lijiang’s specialties, we mostly buy flower cakes as souvenirs. Although there are many chain silver jewelry stores and Chinese medicine stores there, it is not recommended to buy them locally unless necessary. You can do more research and consult a specialized doctor.
This team building in Lijiang completed my trip to Yunnan that I had not completed for many years. The scenery in the south of Caiyun is beautiful. I envy the people living here, but I also know that this kind of life is not easy.
There are beliefs here that I have never been exposed to, there are folk customs that are gradually disappearing, and there is also a tourism market that urgently needs further regulation. The Ancient Tea Horse Road has lasted for thousands of years and still talks about the mountains and waters, joy and sorrow of the important land in the southwest.
