The sixth day of the trip was quite difficult because yesterday we flew from Lijiang to Banna at night and we needed to get up early in the morning. However, the drive to scenic spots in Xishuangbanna is very short, relaxed and not tiring. Local people like to live a leisurely life, eating barbecue and drinking tea.

Wild Elephant Valley is the most fascinating forest park and scenic spot for watching wild elephant activities in Xishuangbanna. Sanchahe Nature Reserve is world-famous for its unique tropical primeval forest landscape and large number of wild Asian elephants (about 130 animals). The butterfly pavilion, bird garden, python garden, elephant performance and other tourist attractions in the park are dazzling, organically integrating the characteristic culture of the Dai ethnic group in Xishuangbanna

Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park covers a total area of 25,000 acres, integrating the unique natural scenery of primeval forests and charming ethnic customs. The park has the best-preserved tropical ravine rainforest south of the Tropic of Cancer, a peacock breeding base, a monkey domestication base, a large-scale ethnic customs performance venue, Aini Village, Kowloon Waterfall, Manshuanglong White Pagoda, 100-meter granite reliefs, and the legend of Jinhu Lake. There are more than 50 scenic spots in the top ten scenic spots, such as BBQ and ethnic barbecue venues, which highlight the three major themes of "primitive forest, wild animals and folk customs". The forest coverage rate in the park exceeds 98%. Plant wonders such as dragon tree roots, single trees forming forests, old stems bearing flowers, and plant strangulation can be seen everywhere. The bride rush in Aini Village, the joy of Water Splashing Festival, and the song and dance performances of various ethnic groups.

The park preserves more than 100 species and 300 varieties of tropical flowers, as well as more than 600 species and nearly 7,000 accessions of tropical economic plants. Through unique creativity and novel garden layout, these tropical flowers that are closely related to human life are revealed. , tropical fruit trees, southern medicine and other plants, you can appreciate the gorgeous tropical scenery and Banna style

Dai ethnic village

The Dai Village is located in the Xishuangbanna Dai Garden Scenic Area. It is 28 kilometers away from Jinghong City, the state capital. The five Dai villages that include the scenic area are Manjiang, Manchunman, Manting, Mancha, Manga, etc., which are under the jurisdiction of the Manting Office of Menghan Town. The village is a typical Dai village. The houses are built in the style of "ganlan" bamboo buildings, with bamboo fences between households forming their own courtyards.

In the Dai village, because the introduction is about Dai culture and life, we didn’t take too many photos. Xiaoyu from the Dai family will introduce some health care and treatment of common minor diseases to the Dai family. Remember to bookmark it!

Due to weather conditions, the flight back to Dalian from Kunming was delayed by 9 hours, but the meaning of the journey is to experience the scenery and passing by. Mentality is still very important~

Itinerary shopping instructions

There are still shopping stores in the Yunnan itinerary, but it is a reasonably priced group and there will be no forced shopping. When I say reasonable prices, I hope everyone has a standard system in mind. There are no free tours and no free lunches. You can also buy it in the shopping group. Jade, yellow dragon jade, silverware, local specialties, and Pu'er tea are indeed local products. Especially since the state launched a strict crackdown on compulsory shopping in Yunnan last year, the prices of goods in shopping stores have become more affordable.
