October 1st, National Day, was the third day in Yunnan. Today we were very busy. We went to the ancient city of Dali, to Lijiang, rode horses along the Tea Horse Road, and took a cruise in Lashihai to listen to the stories of the little brother from Lijiang. folk songs, and watched Lijiang Eternal Love in the evening.
Xiao Guobao mentioned in her travel diary before that because a young lady had already been to Dali, Yunnan, she was a little hesitant when choosing this time. However, after her hard struggle, we finally decided on this place in Yunnan.
Yes, this is my second time to Dali, Yunnan, but this time I took a completely different route.
Memories of my first visit to Dali
The first time I went to Dali was on National Day in 2013, almost five years ago.
At that time, my roommate Zhai and I went to visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali and the Erhai Lake opposite the Three Pagodas. I still remember that the Erhai Lake was very original at that time, and the overgrown areas beside the Erhai Lake were covered with beautiful patterns. Mulberry flowers are very messy but beautiful and natural. We also picked the Gesang flowers with itchy hands and used willow sticks to weave the Gesang flowers into garlands and wear them on our heads.

I was traveling independently at that time. I still remember that I was stuck in traffic jam until late at night when I arrived from Kunming to Dali. I searched for a place to stay near the ancient city of Dali for several times, but to no avail. Finally, I met three young ladies who had the same experience as us. We also The group had a meal together, and then continued to look for a place to stay. Finally, they found a resting place in a dark and inconspicuous place.

The first time I came to Dali, the memory that Dali left for me was that there was no sunshine, no blue sky and white clouds, but there were many beautiful Gesang flowers, red and white; there were also golden rice fields and empty fields after harvesting There are only haystacks left; the water of Erhai Lake is not beautiful but it is very original. There are aquatic plants in the water, and there are unpainted pig trough boats on the water's edge. There are cormorants standing isolated on the boats, as if waiting for the master to give orders, and then We plunged into the water; the three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are backed by Cangshan Mountain. But this time when I went to Yunnan, those who chose to join a group departed two days in advance, and everything went so smoothly. At least there was no traffic jam until the third day.
The second time in Dali, the commercial atmosphere was a bit strong.

There are many people in the ancient city during the National Day, so holding an exhibition is a good publicity opportunity. At the exhibition, our Yunnan small family took a group photo for the first time. We asked the person organizing the exhibition to help take the photo. It is very strong We asked to put the parrot in the front. It looked very professional. They also used their own camera equipment to take a video of us. Haha, I don’t know where to play it.

The lady organizing the exhibition also asked us to leave what we wanted to say to Dali in the guestbook. Bai tie-dye. Before the specific itinerary was decided, Xiaoyu said that he only had one request, which was to experience Bai tie-dyeing. As a result, after looking for a group for a long time, there was basically no route specifically for experiencing tie-dying. Generally, this route is only available for shopping groups. In the end, Xiaoyu compromised, hehe.

After about an hour and a half, we hurriedly visited the commercial street of Dali Ancient City, and then took a bus to Lijiang. At Lashihai in Lijiang, we rode horses along the Ancient Tea Horse Road and took a boat to explore the scenery of Lashihai. This route is also left over from history. At that time, caravans passed here to go to Shangri-La and to Tibet for trade. The route of our tourists is from the entrance of the scenic spot, passing through the ancient forest, sister lake, and holy spring source (the source of Lashihai). Finally arrived at the place where we took the bus to Lashihai Lake.

Sister Lake. The water in Sisters Lake is turquoise, beautiful and clear. According to Jinhua who leads the horse (women here in Lijiang are called Jinhua and men are called brother), in the past, when Guliang was getting married, she would come to this sister lake to bathe. She also said that there were many brothers. Hidden in the jungle and peeked.

During the horse riding, you will rest for a while at the source of Lashihai, so you can come down and take photos and see the scenery at the source of Lashihai. The water flows down from the top and passes through the steps one by one, giving it the feeling of a waterfall.
We didn't stay here long, took some photos, then immediately went back to find our horses and continued on our way.

After this hour, I also mastered the skills of riding a horse. The horse's reins can control the direction of the horse's walking. If you pull the reins to the left, the horse will go to the left. When going uphill, keep your body down, and when going downhill, sit upright.

There must be many foreigners here who come to ride horses.
I thought to myself that riding a horse is very simple. Anyway, the aunt who came to hold the horse during the whole process hardly held my horse. The horse walked on its own. At the beginning, the horse always walked on the edge of the cliff, and my heart was hanging in the air. But later I learned how to control the direction of the horse, and my hanging heart dropped. The aunt said in colloquial Mandarin that these horses walk here every day and they remember the route. Don't worry about it taking the wrong route.
However, I personally feel that riding a horse for an hour is quite tiring. Because sitting on horseback is really uncomfortable. Anyway, some people have leg pain after coming down for an hour, haha.

After the horseback riding, we took a sightseeing bus to Lashi Beach and took a boat ride. There are three types of boats in Lashihai, one is a small boat that can be rowed by oneself, one is a motor vehicle, and the other is a pig trough boat.
Row your own boat. The color of the boat is quite bright, red, yellow and blue, forming a beautiful scenery on the gray Lashi Sea.
There is an additional fee of 10 yuan for rowing your own boat, and you have to pay extra for renting waterproof pants or waterproof shoes. Lele especially wanted to experience rowing by herself, and she even took brother Jingmo with her, so Xiaoyu, Lele, and brother Jingmo chose to row the boat by themselves.
Motor boat. The five of us, Little National Treasure, Miss Wu Xie, Miss Ingenious, Sledgehammer and me, chose to take a motor boat. Motorized boats also cost you an additional 10 yuan. The only advantage is that you can enjoy the scenery of Lashihai for about 20 minutes.

Walking billboard. Before departure, Xiaoyu prepared small gifts for us as always. Pig trough boat. This is the legendary pig trough boat. The 260 yuan included in the boat ride is this pig trough boat, so this is free. However, the locals said that it takes 10 minutes to ride this boat. If it leaks, you have to rent waterproof shoes, which seems to be 10 yuan, and they only need to be crowded to row, so in comparison, almost no one chooses this.
In fact, when you think about it, it is also a marketing technique of others. First, tell you how bad this boat is, and then tell you how many motor boats are good. All fools know how to choose, right?
Lashihai is the ancient Naxi translation name. "Lashi" means barren dam, and "shi" means new. When combined, it means "new barren dam". Although I did not encounter the most beautiful Lashihai this time, I also felt the tranquility of Lashihai. The new Huangba may be reflected in this tranquility.
After the Lashihai cruise ended, it was almost seven o'clock in the evening. We quickly took the bus to the next destination and watched the eternal love affair in Lijiang at 20:00.
