In fact, regardless of the price or location advantages, the order is submarine area - deep sea area - sea view area. Let me explain them one by one.
In fact, the most famous thing about the Whale Shark Museum is that it has an ultra-wide and ultra-long viewing wall with many species. There are about 20,000 fish, including 8 of the largest fishes - whale sharks. .
The area in front of this acrylic wall is the seabed area . The location on the slope farther away from the wall is sea view area . The deep sea area is in the tunnel on the other side of the passage.
This time, I couldn’t book the underwater area (it’s very popular, so try to book it in advance) and chose the deep-sea area instead. But to put it bluntly, the difference in experience is not very big.
Because after the closing time of 9 o'clock, although you can walk around in the museum, the management staff will turn off the lights one after another . You can't take pictures of anything in a water tank or display wall without lights.
Therefore, when we can take pictures, it is always before the guests go to bed and can move around freely. As long as you take the time to finish shooting and go back to the tent to sleep, the experience will be the same.
The comfort of a tent is naturally no better than a hotel bed. But I came here to stay overnight just for the experience. In addition, after a full day of playing, you can just fall asleep and fall asleep.

I took stock and found that from the arrival gate to the Whale Shark House, there are a total of 3 check-in points:

The ticket collection window is the same as the regular online ticket collection window , and the redemption is continued through the coupon code via SMS.
It’s just that you need to tell the window staff at the same time that you are coming to stay overnight. She will register you and give you matching luggage storage coupons, breakfast coupons and tickets.
Please know that this luggage storage coupon is used for luggage storage outside the park. Usually some tourists come with their suitcases, and they can temporarily store them here for a fee. For us, this storage box is only suitable for storing luggage that we do not need to bring into the park for overnight stays.
In other words, if you have everything in your backpack that you will use tonight, just go directly to the security checkpoint and prepare to enter the park. You can keep these two tickets for now, they will be useful later.
📌Second check-in point: Visitor Center
I feel that the security check in Zhuhai is not as strict as Guangzhou Chimelong.
No food is allowed, after all, for fear of tourists feeding the animals at will. I will not discuss whether there is any idea of promoting consumption in the park. Water and accommodation supplies can be brought in.
The visitor center is on the right after the security check and is very easy to find.
When I came here, I determined the location of the tent with the staff. I've seen online that it's first come, first served, but when I went there I found that the park made the arrangements directly.
However, during the off-season, we may be able to communicate about changing positions. As proof of your overnight stay, she will give you a badge with the name of the corresponding tent on top.
When staying overnight, just look for the corresponding tent based on the name on the sign, which is usually the name of a marine creature. Mine is the Blue-banded Schizophrenia.

But my suggestion is not to use it, because it’s not easy to get hold of, and you have to rush to take pictures and wash up when you go back. If you have the opportunity to go camping in the future, try setting up a tent by yourself.

Oh, by the way, there is a row of lockers next to the visitor center. But you need to pay for it yourself, and you can deposit and withdraw it once. That is, if it is turned off after using it, the service will end by default. If you store it again, you will have to pay to open a new cabinet.
I suggest not to store your things here, because there are free lockers at the third check-in point.
It’s just that the cabinet is small. If it’s a 20-inch suitcase or something, there’s nothing you can do. Regular backpacks can be stuffed in, and small backpacks can also fit two.

As mentioned above, this point is to allow guests to get a free locker to store their luggage . You can choose to come later, but I think it would be a bit silly to visit the area with luggage.
When I was about to take a shower that night, someone came over with my luggage and occupied the cabinet I happened to open.
I had to remind him that it was the locker assigned to me, and he asked me at a loss how to get a usable locker.
Judging from his appearance, he probably left his luggage outside or at a paid place. It's very difficult to go back and forth at night. It's better to put away your luggage as soon as you arrive, go play in a leisurely way, and then come back directly to take a shower, wash and go to bed.

Provided here are towels, toothpaste and toothbrushes, power bank (street power), hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo and USB plug . Other household three-prong or two-prong sockets are impossible to find.
There are water dispensers that provide free hot and cold water, and instant noodles or other beverages that can be purchased for a fee. If you feel too lazy, you don’t have to bring a thermos cup, there are paper cups here.
The tent has a base mat, a moisture-proof mat, two sleeping bags and two pillows, and a night light . The sleeping bags can be used to sleep separately, or can be disassembled to look like a quilt, so that one can be used as a cushion and covered with another.
So what you need to bring: a change of clothes, pajamas, slippers (buy disposable slippers on Taobao, they are very cheap and light) and ensure that your camera or mobile phone can charge the data cable.
The sockets are very limited and only in the locker area, not in the sleeping area. Therefore, if you have no choice, you have to rent a street power supply for 4 yuan/hour.
The bathing area is a bit like a gym-type compartment with a door . The toilet is separated from the bathroom. There are also lockers in the washroom for residents to temporarily store their things.

But judging from this experience, there are also girlfriends traveling together, there are also many couples traveling together, and families still account for the majority. I haven’t seen it in the Gay Friends Gang so far, so I guess boys really don’t like it.
Tourists who stay overnight need to gather at 8:30 pm to visit the Manatee Hall to visit the night fish. The next day, after getting up and washing, we gathered together to visit the Whale Shark Museum.
In fact, when tourists were conducting these two visits, the staff were arranging and executing tent erection and tent collection.
The whole process is: check in - go and play by yourself - gather for a visit in the evening - take a shower and wash - sleep - wash up - gather for a visit - pick up your luggage - have breakfast - continue to play.
Unfortunately, because of the large crowds on weekends and being too tired after a day of walking, I missed these two visits perfectly.
It’s not that I can’t catch up, but that I give up subjectively. The result of this trade-off is that the washing peak can be staggered with other tourists (after all, resources are limited), and more photo opportunities can be obtained.
If you think that if you stay overnight at the Whale Shark Museum, you will get unlimited visits and photo opportunities, then I may have to correct you.
First of all, the overnight staff will have relevant guidelines and a certain degree of control, so it doesn’t mean that you can go anywhere after closing. It’s just that after closing, there will be a period of time for the staff to set up tents. During this period, you can walk around first.
Sadly, after closing, the lights in various areas will gradually go out. Without lighting, the ideal effect cannot be achieved.
So to sum up, the best time to take photos during a night stay is during the tent setting/washing time after gathering in the evening; or the tent closing time the next morning.
Here’s a tip: If you find that there are too many people at the Whale Shark Museum after putting away your luggage, don’t rush to take pictures. Browse around the museum first to see how the camera and angle should be used to shoot.
You can wait until you come back to the Whale Shark Museum in the evening to take some souvenir photos. At this time, you will find that there are basically no people in the photos taken.
