Departure—Xiangzhou Port
Before departure, I went to Xiangzhou Port to collect my tickets. It was raining heavily at that time, and the sound of rainwater was very disturbing.
Fortunately, after the light rain, we successfully boarded the ship after a short and tense queue to collect tickets. The boat will pass by Guishan Island on the way from Xiangzhou Port, giving you a short break if you are seasick~
Island landing and accommodation—roaming on the beach
The island is not big and there are no hotels, only inns. Most inns can be reached on foot after getting off the boat, and the owners of inns further away will come to pick you up~
The inn I booked is: Meng Ling Ding, sea view room + incomparable sea view, the beach is right outside the door, which is not too beautiful.
The vast sea, but because it was after rain, the weather was gloomy. Even so, the scenery was very beautiful, and even filled with the fresh smell of humidity after rain, mixed with the salt of the island.
Living area—Hong Kong style leisure and comfort
After putting away our luggage, we wandered around the nearby living area. The surrounding atmosphere was leisurely and comfortable, with residents and tourists coming and going, classic Hong Kong-style buildings and various beautiful graffiti walls.
Island Bookstore-Yuechao. A must-choice place for literary and artistic young people! Yuechao is the only bookstore on the island. Not only are there books, but there are also coffee and tea. When you are tired from shopping you can take a break here, read a book, drink a cup of tea, and spend a quiet time on the island.
Seafood market - choose all you want to eat facing the sea
You must eat seafood when you come to the island. You basically buy seafood at the seafood market and take it to the restaurant for processing. The seafood market is right next to the beach. It is not big, but it has everything. There are fish, shrimps and crabs that I know today, as well as many snails or shellfish that I can't name. Generally speaking, the three treasures of Lingding, "General's Cap, Dog Claw Snail, and Sea Urchin", are the must-see targets.
After buying the seafood, you can take it to a restaurant for processing.
Basically, you buy the seafood at the seafood market and have it processed by the restaurant, which charges a processing fee of ￥15-￥30. The taste is almost the same and there is nothing particularly worth recommending.
Auntie sells seaweed paste on the street. If you like desserts, you must try seaweed paste, 6~10 yuan/portion.
Seaweed is commonly known as sea bird's nest, which is rich in collagen, which is higher than that of bird's nest. The amount is high. You can try it in the hot summer.
Coconut juice is 18/piece and green coconut is 12/piece, both shipped from outside the island. (There is room for bargaining) Don’t believe it is local coconut on the island, so we didn’t try it.
Things to note when coming to play
Although the peak season is from May to September, the B&B we stayed in recommended October to early November. At that time, there weren’t that many people and it wasn’t too hot (it might still be summer in Zhuhai until December). The weather and water quality are also better, and food and accommodation are cheaper.
◆First book the ferry ticket at Xiangzhou Port Gongju and then book a room. Because there are not many flights, most local B&Bs do not have elevators.
◆Depart from the foot of the mountain at 4:30 in the morning. The journey takes about 1 hour. The sunrise time is about 6 o'clock, depending on the weather.
◆It is recommended to wear a windbreaker and sneakers when climbing the mountain. The top of the mountain is full of rocks Be careful to prevent mosquitoes and insects.
◆It is recommended to play in the sea after 4 pm. The sun is most saturated between 5 and 6 pm.
◆You can see the starry sky after 11 o'clock at night
◆Since there are only 20+ restaurants, the service is very average Prices on the island are a bit expensive, but seafood is relatively cheap and can be bargained for.

There is only one toilet on the top of the mountain, and there are no canteens or street lights on the way up and down the mountain.
