Introduction to Jingren Palace: One of the six eastern palaces, originally named Chang'an Palace, it was the residence of concubines in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Tong Jia, the biological mother of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, once lived here and gave birth to Xuanye here. Emperor Yongzheng's concubine Xi (the biological mother of Emperor Qianlong) and Emperor Guangxu's concubine Zhen also lived in this palace.
