Introduction to the Ancestral Pagoda: The Ancestral Pagoda is located less than ten miles in front of Miyin Temple. In 853 AD, Master Lingyou, the founder of the Weiyang Sect of Zen Buddhism, passed away. His disciples buried his body here and built a tomb tower, hence the name Ancestral Pagoda.
