Xin'an County Government Introduction: In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1368), after Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself emperor in Nanjing, he attached great importance to military preparations and "conquered the world through military force." In order to prevent pirates from invading, the "Dongguan Guards Qianhu Station" was set up here in the 14th year of Hongwu (1382). The city was built in the 27th year of Hongwu. Xin'an County Government was the headquarters for many battles during the Opium War. It has a prominent position in modern history.
