Introduction to the Five Elements Bagua Cave: Located 120 meters south of the Lotus Pot, there are five caves located side by side on a rock wall. The diameter of the cave entrance is about 1.5 meters and more than 10 meters deep. The five entrances in the cave are connected. According to legend, Shennong traveled thousands of mountains, tasted hundreds of medicines, dug five connected stone caves with a magic hoe, and stored medicinal herbs in the caves. The Song Dynasty Neo-Confucian scholar Shao Fuzi arranged the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth here, and named the five cave entrances after metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
