White Crane Introduction: Goetou and Mitai Bird Watching Scenic Areas are the largest resting places for the world’s endangered bird, the White Crane, and are also concentrated breeding grounds for a variety of herons. Bird watching is possible in this area three seasons a year, covering an area of 30 square kilometers. The white crane is also the flagship species protected in the Momoge Nature Reserve.
