Introduction to the Mecca of Bird Watching: Beidaihe District is a world-famous bird watching area and the first migratory bird sanctuary in my country. It is known as the "Mecca of Bird Watching". Beidaihe is located in the western part of the Liaoxi Corridor. There are more than 6,600 hectares of forest and more than 50 acres of wetland. There are 404 species of birds that can be seen, accounting for 45% of the existing bird species in my country. Among them, 68 species are nationally protected animals, many of which are world-famous rare birds. The best seasons for birdwatching in Beidaihe are from mid-March to late May and early September to mid-November.
