How to get there:

Airplane: Adelaide Airport can take the rex (Regional Express) series of flights to Kangaroo Island, which takes about 30 minutes to the small town of Kingscote on Kangaroo Island.

Ferry: Rent a car in Adelaide and go to Cape Jervis Peninsula. The drive takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, and then take a 1-hour ferry to Penneshaw, a tourist town on Kangaroo Island.
