Beijing Huguang Guild Hall Grand Theater is one of the only remaining famous guild halls in Beijing with a theater building. It is also the first guild hall to be restored according to its original layout and opened to the public. The Huguang Guild Hall was established by people from Hunan and Hubei provinces who were traveling in Beijing to connect with fellow villagers. It has carved beams and painted buildings, polished bricks and green water walls, showing the splendor of the inner courtyard of the palace, but it is also exquisitely carved and has the style of a royal palace. It has a history of 200 years. The restored guild hall is not only open to the public as an opera museum, but its theater building has also become an entertainment resort for opera lovers, playing an important role in promoting traditional culture.

The Grand Theater of Beijing Huguang Guild Hall is located at No. 3 Hufang Road, Xicheng District, covering an area of ​​more than 4,700 square meters. It consists of the Grand Theater, Wenchang Pavilion, Baoshan Hall and Fengyu Huairen Pavilion. There are 10 theater rooms in the front yard and backstage. There are 40 theater rooms on the front, east and west sides, with a square in the middle, which can accommodate thousands of people. It is simple and elegant. The Opera Museum uses detailed and precious opera documents, cultural relics, pictures and audio-visual materials to show the audience the development history of Beijing opera, mainly the art of Peking opera. The exhibits were collected with great difficulty by the warriors, including the works of the famous Peking opera masters Wang Yaoqing and Mei Lanfang. Precious collections include apprenticeship pictures, costumes used by martial arts master Yang Xiaolou for performances.
