Yudaokou Grassland Forest Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Weichang County, Chengde City, 110 kilometers away from Weichang County and 260 kilometers away from Chengde City. It has a total area of 1,000 square kilometers, an altitude of 1,230-1,280 meters, and a cold temperate continental monsoon plateau climate with an average annual temperature of 5°C. The scenic area has primitive grasslands, natural secondary forests, wetlands, lakes, springs, rivers and other resource types.
