Furong River Scenic Area is a river gorge-type small-scale, large-capacity karst landform and primitive water forest-type scenic area. The scenic area is located in Jiangkou Town, where the Furong River Zhuzi Creek to the Furong River estuary in Wujiang River in Haokou Township, Wulong County, Chongqing. The mainstream river section is 35 kilometers long and covers an area of 152.8 square kilometers. It is the best leisure, vacation and water entertainment venue in Chongqing.Attractions distribution:
Furong River was formerly known as Yangshui River, also known as Pangu River. It originates in Suiyang County, Tongzi County, Guizhou Province, with a total length of 243 kilometers. The 35-kilometer (Chongqing section) green jade belt is very rich in tourism resources. The river gorges, peaks and rocks, beaches and streams, waterfalls and pools are all different. The natural scenery is particularly unique, integrating mountains, water, caves, forests, springs and gorges, and is majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful, secluded and unique. How to get there:
It is 21 kilometers from Wulong to Furongjiang Scenic Area. You can drive to Wulong along the Chongqing-Xiangjiang Expressway and then go to Jiangkou. You can also drive along Route 319 directly to Furong Cave and Furongjiang Scenic Area. You can also take the train to Wulong first, get off the train, and then go to Wulong Bus Station to take the bus from Wulong to Jiangkou (the fare from Wulong to Jiangkou is 6 yuan), then take a taxi to Furongjiang Scenic Area, or you can go to the tourist distribution center and charter a car to go there.
