Scenic spot introduction:

The ancient city of Puxi in Fujian is an ancient anti-Japanese city in the Ming Dynasty. The city perimeter is 590 feet, the foundation is 1 feet 2 feet thick, and the city wall is 1 feet 3 feet high. The sub-city is 6 feet high, with 1049 battlements and 24 police shops; There are four gates in the north, south and south. There are towers on the gates and a moon city. Outside the city, a dry trench 2 feet wide and 8 feet deep was dug against the mountain in the west. The ancient city faces the sea on three sides, southeast and north, and the terrain is high: on a clear day, the sun rises out to the sea, and the hazy sea fog appears as a silk gauze draped around it. The ancients euphemistically called it "Floating Xi". In the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1387), the imperial court built a city and garrisoned troops here to ward off Japanese pirates. The word "Fuxi" evolved from a dialect homophonic to "Puxi", which means auspiciousness. In 1939, only 120 feet of the city wall, the east and north city gates and the moon city remained, as well as the inner city God's temple and the cross streets paved with strips of stone.
