Suyan Temple was built on the ruins of Coastal Temple in the Song Dynasty. It faces north and south, with rolling peaks in front and mountains on the back. The terrain resembles a "swallow returning to its nest", hence its name. Suyan Temple is located in Tingdian Village, Jiangnan Town, Licheng District, east of Zimao Mountain in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. The temple has a compact layout, a quiet environment, majestic buildings, and solemn Buddha images. Every day, the Sanskrit chants are melodious, incense smoke is lingering, the surrounding mountains are green, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. It is truly a pure land of peace and tranquility.

How to get there:

Suyan Temple is located on Laojun Mountain, south of Qingyuan and north of Zimao, four kilometers away from Quanzhou City. From Quanzhou Bridge, follow National Highway 324 south to Tingdian Township. There is a cement mountain road, and you can drive directly to the temple.
