Scenic spot introduction:

The southern Shaolin Temple in Fuqing is surrounded by majestic and majestic mountains. A pool of green water surrounds the green mountains. Deep in the dense forest, the wind blows and the grass moves, the mountains dance and the peaks move, and the clouds and smoke drift leisurely and elegantly. The temple is located in the lotus-shaped mountain basin surrounded by nine mountains in the Daiyun Mountains in the west of Shaolin Village in Dongzhang Town. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and was destroyed by war. According to legend, after 13 warrior monks from the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan, helped Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty unify China, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty bestowed "monk soldiers" on them and allowed the establishment of ten branch temples across the country. Fuqing South Shaolin Temple is one of the earliest branch temples among the ten branch temples of Shaolin Temple. Because of its large scale and flourishing martial arts style, which influenced southern China, it was called the Southern Shaolin Temple.
