The Fushun War Criminals Management Institute is the only relatively complete prison site in the world that was used to detain, reform, and try war criminals. The Management Institute was established in June 1950. A total of 982 Japanese war criminals were received, detained, educated, and reformed. There were 71 war criminals from the Puppet Manchukuo State, including Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Fushun War Criminals Management Center covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters and has a construction area of more than 6,600 square meters. The Management Center was founded in 1936. How to get there:
The Fushun War Criminals Management Office is located on the north bank of the Neihun River in Fushun City, eastern Liaoning Province, at the foot of Gaoer Mountain. It can be reached by taking bus No. 9 from Fushun Railway Station (South Station).
