Pingshan is one of the three mountains in Fuzhou. Because its peak is shaped like a big screen, it is called Pingshan. During the reign of the King of Yue, he built his old capital at the foot of the mountain, so it was also called Yuewang Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, Zhenhai Tower was built on the mountain, which was the tallest building in Fuzhou at that time. Climb the tower and look out, as far as the Minjiang River estuary. Pingshan Park was opened in 1986, covering a total area of ​​9.4 hectares. The park has a southern scenery, with hundreds of varieties and 3,000 to 4,000 trees and shrubs spread throughout the park.
