Mingyue Island Scenic Area is a river-center island on the Nen River surrounded by water. Its original name is "Sishui Island". It is named because it looks like a bright moon reflected on the tender water. It is called the sister island to the Sun Island Scenic Area in Harbin. Mingyue Island is located seven kilometers northwest of Qiqihar City, with an island area of approximately 7.6 square kilometers. The natural environment is beautiful, with undulating island terrain, scattered meadows and swamps, dotted with two small rivers and five island lakes. More than 500 species of plants and 150,000 trees cover the continuous sand dunes. In summer, this is an excellent place for boating, picnicking, and taking a vacation. How to get there:
1. During the peak tourist season, there are special trains from Qiqihar Railway Station directly to the scenic spot.
2. Take a bus from Qiqihar No. 1 Department Store. There is one bus every morning, noon and evening. The journey takes 1 hour and the round-trip ticket is 10 yuan.
3. The special bus from the urban area to the protected area (stopping at the train station, etc.) runs every 30 minutes, and the round-trip fare is 15 yuan. The first bus from the train station to the reserve is at 8:30 am, and the last bus back from the reserve is around 3:30 pm.

Mingyue Island ticket price:
Tickets are free (you need to take a ferry to get to the island, which costs 30 yuan; a speedboat costs 40 yuan). There is an additional charge for entertainment on the island.
