The Martyr Dong Cunrui Cemetery was built to commemorate the immortal achievements of the hero Dong Cunrui. It is located on the east bank of the Eson River at the foot of Taishan Mountain in the northwest of Longhua County in northern Hebei Province. It covers an area of 71,000 square meters. The architecture of the entire cemetery has national style and distinctive characteristics of the times. .Attractions distribution:
The layout of the cemetery is axially symmetrical. From the north to the south are the gate, archway, Dong Cunrui statue, Dong Cunrui monument and Dong Cunrui's tomb. On the two secondary axes 47 meters behind the archway, there are the relatively symmetrical Dong Cunrui Stele Pavilion and the Revolutionary Martyrs Stele Pavilion; the Dong Cunrui Martyr Memorial Hall and the National Defense Education Memorial Hall; and two inscription stele galleries. How to get there:
Driving from Chengde city, take the outer ring road and go northwest to Chengwei Highway. After entering Longhua County, you can first take Longfeng Highway (called Xingzhou Road in the county section), and then change to Rongshun Street. You can also take the shuttle bus from Chengde to Longhua and Weichang.
