Guzhang Qifeng Lake Scenic Area in western Hunan has unique landforms, deep canyons, vast forests, and many waterfalls. It is the most important eco-tourism scenic spot in western Hunan. The area combines the largest artificial lake in the Youshui River with a national 4A-level geological wonder, along with the thrilling cliff waterfalls, making the scenic area a forest oxygen bar and a hunting resort, attracting curious tourists one after another. Qifeng Lake is located in Guzhang County, Xiangxi Prefecture, close to Mengdonghe Railway Station, with a total area of 238 square kilometers. How to get there:
Bus route: You can take the train directly to Mengdonghe Station near the scenic spot. After getting off the train, you can walk or take a taxi there, which is about 500 meters away.
Self-driving route: Leave the Changji Expressway from the Hexi/Huangmaotang/G319 exit and drive along S229 to Luoyixi Town, Guzhang County.
