Scenic spot introduction:

Palatine Hill (Monte Palatino in Italian) is one of the oldest preserved areas in Rome, Italy. It is the middle of the seven hills in Rome and is about 40 meters high. According to Roman mythology, Palatine Hill is the place where Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, were discovered and suckled by a she-wolf. Legend has it that after the shepherd Phocisus discovered the babies, he and his wife Laurentia raised them to adulthood. When the babies grew up, this place became the site chosen by Romulus to build the city of Rome.

The Palatine Hill is now a huge open-air museum with the entrance at the Roman Forum. Arch of Titus Looking down from the top of the mountain, you can see the Roman Forum on one side and the Colosseum on the other.

How to get there:

Take the subway in Rome city to COLOSSEO station. When you get out, you can see the ancient Roman Colosseum and walk to Palatine Hill.
