Travel Guide to Shangsi Shiwandashan National Forest Park

Scenic spot introduction:

Shiwandashan is an important climate dividing line in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The mountain range runs from northeast to southwest, extending into Vietnam in the southwest. It is more than 170 kilometers long and 15 to 30 kilometers wide. The mountain is about one thousand meters above sea level. The main peak, Shiliangling, is 1,462 meters high. There are complete and original subtropical rainforests distributed in the park. It can be said that every mountain is green, every peak is beautiful, every stone is strange, and every water is full of springs. In addition, the park is rich in animal and plant resources and the air is fresh. The content of negative oxygen ions in the air is as high as 162,000/cubic centimeter, which is dozens of times that of the city center. It is an ideal place for sightseeing, adventure, leisure, recuperation, and summer vacation.

Attractions distribution:

The Shiwanda Mountains stretch across Fangchenggang City, from Qinzhou in the east to Ningming and Vietnam in the west, and to Jinxiu Dayao Mountain in the north. The mountain range is 137 kilometers long from east to west and 40 kilometers wide from north to south. The forest area is nearly 5 million mu, including 600,000 mu of virgin forest. There are the "Shiwandashan Water Source Forest Nature Reserve" and the "Golden Camellia Reserve", the queen of China's tea family. The area is full of mountains, lush forests, a wide variety of rare wild animals and plants, and rich and colorful forest scenery.
