Thingvellir National Park is located in a town in southwest Iceland, on the north shore of Thingvalla Lake, 45 kilometers away from the capital Reykjavik. How to get there:
National Park: It is recommended that tourists rent a car locally and drive there. From Reykjavik, take the first exit at kilometer 1 and enter Route 36.
Reykjavik:
1. Airplane: Most international flights arrive at Keflavík International Airport, and most cities in Greenland and Iceland arrive in Reykjavik. Reykjavík Airport.
2. City transportation: bus (Strætó bs), taxi (Reykjavik Taxi) or rent a car locally for tours.

1. You can get a map at the visitor center for easy tours; you can choose to visit the park on foot or horseback, or you can dive at the bottom of the lake.
2. Park restaurant opening hours: April 1st - October 31st and weekends in winter.
3. Church opening hours: mid-May to mid-September, 9:00-17:00 every day.
4. From June 1st to September 1st every year, the park opens the camping area.
5. Fishing season: May 1st to September 15th every year.
