Scenic spot introduction:

Colonia Tovar is a town full of German romance, more than 100 kilometers away from the Venezuelan capital of Las Vegas. There are two legends about the origin of the town. One is that the town was developed by a group of Germans with their families; the other is that during the World War, a group of German prisoners were transported here. Because many of them were infected with the plague, they were confined by the locals in the valley where the town is now located, isolated from the outside world, so as to avoid the spread of the plague. So this group of people were self-sufficient here, cutting down trees and finally built the town into today's German style.
