Trulli Famous throughout the world, its old town preserves more than a thousand Trulli houses and is known as the "Capital of Trulli". Attractions distribution:

Alberobello means beautiful oak. It was originally a barren land with the worst natural conditions. The earliest stone houses can be traced back to the 12th century, and it is unknown when people began to live here. Since the 16th century, more and more refugees who escaped natural disasters and man-made disasters have fled here and built houses with limestone. In 1797, the refugees petitioned the local King Pombo of Taranto for legal settlement. The refugees were so numerous that the king reluctantly allowed this type of dome stone house, which was easy to demolish, to exist legally, forming the unique village of Toorli in the Alberobello area.
Today, the town of Alberobello has a permanent population of less than 20,000. Since the town and its trulli were listed as World Cultural Heritage, the former simple peasant dwellings have become priceless treasures and a must-see on the southern Italian tourist route. Today, the entire town is divided into two parts, the old and the new. The old town is mainly densely populated with more than 1,000 trulli and has completely become a tourist destination. Rolling streets Visitors from all over the world wander around, and many trulli shops have been turned into tourist product shops. Some sell postcards, some sell books, and some sell food, small handicrafts, and artworks. The variety of products is complete, all related to trulli.
