Scenic spot introduction:
The Xixia Royal Tombs Scenic Area is located in a strange desert grassland under the Helan Mountain in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the royal mausoleum of the Xixia Dynasty. There are nine imperial mausoleums and 253 burial tombs distributed in the 53 square kilometers of the mausoleum area. The world calls it "mysterious miracle" and "Oriental Pyramid". The Xixia Imperial Tombs are one of the largest existing imperial cemeteries with the most complete above-ground ruins in China. It is also the largest existing Xixia cultural site.The Xixia royal tombs were built from about the early 11th to the early 13th century. They were influenced by Buddhist architecture, which organically combined Han culture, Buddhist culture, and Dangxiang culture, forming a unique form of mausoleum architecture in my country. There are 9 imperial mausoleums and more than 200 tombs of princes and relatives distributed in the scenic area. They are grand in scale and neatly laid out. Each imperial mausoleum is an independent building group in the shape of a vertical rectangle facing north and south, and its scale is comparable to the Ming Tombs.

The Xixia Royal Tombs Scenic Area has a history of more than 900 years. It is a representative of Xixia cultural relics and a valuable resource for studying Xixia culture and history. The scenic area consists of four scenic areas: Gunzhongkou, Xixia Tombs, Baisikou and Sanguan Ancient Great Wall. In order to recreate the charm of the past, sound and light devices have been installed in the mausoleum area. Whenever night falls, everything is silent, and the yellow and blue lights emitted from the ground shine on the mausoleum, turrets and sacred walls, like a mythical world. Visitors can take a horse-drawn carriage to enter the mausoleum area from the east, visit the cemetery ruins, and watch laser videos introducing the history of Xixia such as "The King of Xixia".

How to get there:
Bus: There are tourist buses to the Xixia Tombs from the South Gate Bus Station, North Gate Tourist Bus Station and Nanguan Mosque in Yinchuan City. The fare is about 8 yuan, but the interval is longer, depending on the passenger flow, between 1 and 2 between hours.
Self-driving: Go west on Beijing Road in Yinchuan city, turn south at the T-junction onto National Highway 110, and go straight for 10 kilometers to the west. There is a large parking lot in the scenic area.

Ticket prices for Xixia Royal Tombs:
Xixia Royal Tombs: 60 yuan/person. The pass includes all areas of Tomb No. 3 and the Xixia Museum. For an additional 5 yuan, you can take a battery car in the scenic area.
Rolling Bell Gate: 20 yuan/person
