Scenic spot introduction:

Xidi Ancient Village covers an area of more than 190 mu and is an ancient village where the Hu family lived together. The overall layout of the village, the environment and the architectural style have well preserved the ancient style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it is known as the "People in the Peach Blossom Spring". Xidi Village has both the exquisite "three carvings" architectural art of ancient Huizhou and the rich and profound Huizhou regional culture. It is "a witness to ancient human civilization, a typical work of traditional characteristic architecture, and a shining example of the combination of man and nature."
Xidi Village was first built during the Huangyou period of the Northern Song Dynasty, developed in the middle of the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, and reached its peak in the early Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 960 years. Most of the houses in Xidi Village are built with black marble. Two clear springs run through the village, and there are 99 high walls and deep alleys. The ancient houses with their own characteristics make tourists feel like they are in a maze. Xidi Village still has nearly 200 well-preserved houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Hui-style buildings are scattered and dotted with brick, wood and stone carvings.

Attractions distribution:

The Xidi Village currently has three ancestral halls from the 14th to 19th centuries, one memorial archway, and 300 ancient dwellings.
